When my leg was amputated and I was in intensive care they gave me a morphine pump , it was the worst experience of my life . It just made it clear to me that taking drugs for recreational purposes was never going to happen for me, we're all different I suppose but I just can't get my head around why anyone would do that.

Well there are people who contribute to the forum and people who compliment those efforts and then there are people who just write stuff for their own gratification

Excellent Chris, great photos as well. I'm sure you enjoyed getting away for a few days with some time to yourself

Interesting to see those roads and scenery in those weather conditions, the Gorges du Tarn is spectacular isn't it .

So Miss Australia got sold yesterday evening. She is going to a mate who is currently in South Africa awaiting his Land Rover to arrive on a container ship. God knows when he's going to get to ride the bike .

Can't be bothered , pair of gayers giving each other a slap. Not that I'd want a 'slap' from either of them

I had no idea Fred, ages since I've been along there. Won't be going back in a hurry, I'll use my usual routes .

Nice one Pedro, glad you got a test on it. Got to say that yellow colour is shite though.

What an eventful day for me today. From an ad-hoc call from a mate who's currently in South Africa it ended with him buying my DR650 even though he won't be able to take possesion for quite a while .

My mate broke two ribs by carrying his mobile in his chest pocket and hitting the turf on Salisbury Plain, my answer was 'your a shit rider '

Along the M4 to jct 34, up through Llantrisaint to Blackmill, over the Bwlch mountain (photo) to Treorchy. Over the Rhigos (feckin freezing), got stuck for ages on the Heads of the Valleys road, dipped off at Rhymney, over the top to Tredegar and down Llanelly Hill and home. Didn't enjoy it one bit , I blame @Cupid Stunt and @Specs

Great way to spend the morning @Mawsley

I predict that you'll find the CRF300L doesn't have enough torque (you have to thrash them) and the 701 just has too much power to be useful as a trail bike

He's getting about this year

Brilliant story, there won't be any characters left like that before long.
