Nice one Dave, good to see the other side of the country. Also reminds me of when I used to do a run to the leaf factory in Ipswich

I totally agree with you there Pedro. I mainly rode XR's when I had DR350's and the trail of the XR was much steeper in comparison to the Suzuki. The only reason so many DR350's sold in the UK Over the XR was when it got an electric start. I will never understand why Honda didn't put an electric boot on the 400 ?

Blimey, that's bad news Pete. We're doing the 40's in UK now.

Did you get the bars made, are they unique ? They look 'right ' on that bike as they match the subframe. Can I also say that you look ace on that bike as well Well done Pedro for helping out
-
Blimey Lionel, It's a long time since I rode either of those models. Fred @Sir Fallsalot has a XR400 so he may be better placed to answer that question. Remember that they are both kickstart though

He's not allowed to have a sharp stick so it'll probably be the gearstick from the number 14 to Leith

It's a classic ' front end washout ' where you have no ' side knobs ' on the tyre to give that direction and stability in loose stuff.

Absolutely superb Fred, the Nant y Moch trails are probly me favourite of all along with Bomber Lane and the others around Barmouth. This one here looks like a bit of a ' test ' -
The history is ace Chris, keep it coming.

We all like a little lay down once in a while Have you thought about a more aggresive front tyre ? it would help you steer better on that sort of terrain. That was a classic front-end washout.
