Once again that looks ace to me Chris. I can't see me going to France again this year (missed out last year), it's becoming very depressing .
-
Should have primed it first Pete with plastic primer, very light sanding and then the top coat. Anyway, it doesn't look too bad to me.

Bloody hell Tym , agent orange !!! Take it easy mate, whtever surgery you're having I wish you all the best

What Fred said . I carry a leatherman but that's just for basics. At the very least carry a tyre compressor so at least you can inflate a flat until you get to a garage. What's the Himalayan tool kit like , could you remove either wheel with it ? If not you need to be thinking about a tool kit that will do the job ?

I don't think you'll be dissapointed Pedro but if they're expensive in Portugal go for the Michelin Tracker.

Cheng Shin are Taiwanese and have a substatial holding in Maxxis

What's for dinner Nan................... Nan's reply............ Ham , Jam and Baa Lamb

The Maxxis M7304 front presently on my CRF Rally has over 4500 miles on it now including a trip to France and back, I reckon it'll do another 1000 miles easily. Tyres are a very individual thing but I'm very confident in the Maxxis.

I would say that the tyre is your problem. AC10 fronts have a reputation for bad wear, they're quite dangerous in the wet as well. It's strange as the rear AC10 is pretty good. Michelin have replaced them with the Michelin Tracker but if you can get Maxxis Maxxcross IT Pro's then they are a much better tyre for around the same price. https://www.24mx.co.uk/motocross-parts/motocross-tyres--rims_c350/motocross-tyres_c351/maxxis-m-7304d-mx-21-front-mx-tyres_pid-PM-4904663?gclid=Cj0KCQjw3duCBhCAARIsAJeFyPW1dywFUYHt4Ftb_0xjQXxf9ympJDcYjhIxUk0u_LAP0bh57pcW5CMaAoiWEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

How old is the tyre? was there any aggressive acceleration or braking ? these are factors that will cause tyre-creep. Has the tyre been on the rim for a long time ?
-
How low do you run your tyres ? I never run mine lower than 16psi even in real sloppy conditions. Only ever had one 'tyre creep' in 40 years of off-road riding.
-
I can't help you with this as I don't use tyre locks Pedro, they're a pain in the ass imo. This is my tyre pump, absolutely bulletproof but a bit expensive to buy........... https://bestrestproducts.com/shop/cyclepump-ez-gauge/cyclepump-expedition-tire-inflator/cyclepump-expedition-tire-inflator/

Ace Pete, looked worth going too. I also see that you’ll be buying some real knobby tyres soon and become an enduro god ?
-
@Sir Fallsalot Fred, are you out of lockdown now, can you travel within Wales ?
-
Excellent job Michelle. So it's a similar job to removing the SAS (secondary air system) on a KTM950 Adventure , your bike will breathe much better now especially with the new silencer as well ?

I suppose with everything that's going on they've just erected those barriers without any notice or consultation. That's a public road isn't Fred ? Annoys me no end when these twats just do as they please. The cemetery is definitely spooky when you're up there on your own, I'll admit that I didn't hang around there for long when I went there.

No, they're much worse. At least in Swansea some can speak Welsh, they don't speak any decipherable language in Cardiff
-
You're missing a trick there Pete. Open a tea-bag shop in Huescar, I'll ship 'em over , you sell 'em
-
Being born in Swansea doesn't make you Welsh according to the dudes in Mid/North Wales, it makes you a Jack Cunt
-
The depressing part for me has been not being able to ride, events cancelled like the Dragon Rally and not being able to meet up with mates on a weekend for some bikes, bullshit and camping. Of course , all this pales away completely when you think of what some peeps have had to endure. Imagine a close realtive dying and you can't even go to their funeral

I've only really ridden with Austin , he doesn't seem to have any fear. If you look at him going up a steep , loose climb he looks like he's out for a sunday stroll.

He's pretty good, Paul the miserable looking git on the left taught him well
