  1. That's uncanny Tym, I'm also 5' 8'' and my nephew gives me all his old trainers , trousers, sweatshirts etc. I can't remember that last time i bought clothes myself
  2. What is it Tym, Lincoln, Cadillac ? It looks like something Kojak would drive. Who loves you baby
  3. If Ihave trolled anyone then I apologise, it wasn't intentional. To be honest I don't even understand what 'trolling' is , to me life is for laughing and taking the piss (in a friendly way) otherwise what's the point ?
  4. My Serow had a tubeless rear wheel even though it was spoked. Personally though I prefer spoked wheels for my type of riding, I don't mind changing a tube on the trail if I have to.
  5. Tell that to the Lady in the Rhondda who had to attend the funeral of her husband and two grown up sond who all died of it within 5 days of each other . There were 75,000 extra deaths in 2020 compared to the previous year.
  6. I'm quite happy with the way it's been going, I have to say that Michelle's contributions have brought a whole different perspective to things ? even if she hasn't shown us her hairy arse so far
  7. @Skippy There you go Ray, same spot in 2013. Took me over an hour to dig those out
  8. Ask Fred what I'm like at spotting tracks and trails.
  9. This is my Dad, sometime in the early sixties. That was the first bike I ever rode on, he took me out on the back across the moors , no helmets or any other bike gear. I suppose I was about 8 years old and I can remember that it frightened me at first but I loved the freedom of it. My dad never got to see me ride a motorcycle as he died when I was 15, I often wonder if he would of approved of my biking.
  10. We can't tell much from that photo Tym, show us the whole boot(s)
  11. @Skippy I reckon that was taken on top the fort on Monte Jaffreau ??
  12. on the upside Tym it's your life so you can do as you please.
  13. I had exactly the same bike as yours and felt exactly the same way about mine
  14. You must be so organised Pete, I've just been rooting around to try and find a photo of a Ford Capri (i had three of them ) but failed miserably .
  15. I have to confess that I've had similar styles in the past ?
  16. I slept in a Wolesley Hornet once when the girl I got off with wouldn't let me into her parents house. I did get into the house in the morning though and her parents made me breakfast..... result ? I can confirm though that it's not a comfortable car to sleep in ?
  17. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm not sure I can answer that. We don't have a lot of sand (that you can ride on) in the UK so I don't have much experience to compare but the T700 is a fair bit heavier than a DR650.
  18. I'd never knock a Cortina Pete but the one I had was definitely a lemon, not only in colour ?
  19. The front forks were the let down, to softly sprung, A lot of owners put differnet front ends on them, mainly Yamha conversions as I remember. It was a very nice bike but the DR650 is a better bike imo.
