  1. The Australian version of the XR400 had blinkers, chain guard, the lot. It was sought after in the UK. Honda's biggest ommision was not fitting it with electric start, but that's Honda all over for you.
  2. You're obviously bored Tymmy, what a silly statement ?
  3. Do they come road legal there Pedro ? Here you have to fit a speedo, front brake light swich and a few other things before you can take them on the road. It's quite well known here that the front AC10 is a dodgy tyre, rears seem to be fine .
  4. Jesus, it could be a bloke for all I know, just being polite ?
  5. Hello, how are you doing ?
  6. Buongiorno Mariella, sei italiana?
  7. Gary Busey had a serious accident but I have no idea what he was riding or the film ?
  8. That's the one, go just down the road and there's a railway bridge, after that is the Crossgates roundabout..
  9. Is that the lay-by outside 'Off Road Only' old place ?
  10. Of all the riders I know with 690's I don't think a single one of them has got the original silencer fitted, nearly all of them have Akra's or Wings silencers but wether or not they've removed the cat I'm not sure. I know that you can't mess with the very latest models too much without going to a KTM dealer as they have locked them down , a lot like all of the latest model bikes. You might get a better answer here............ https://www.ktmforum.co.uk/forums/off-road-enduro.94/
  11. If it was the '80's and you had a porn star moustache it was Nigel Mansell ?
  12. I can't even get into the position to ride one Pedro, if I have to take one for a MOT it goes in the van ? Beautiful bikes to look at though, we specialise in the 748/916/996/998 models.
  13. The girl who rode her Fireblade up the Sommelier in Italy (an off road track) with her partner on pillion (a guy) gets my vote https://www.dangerousroads.org/europe/france/8294-col-del-sommeiller.html
  14. I was going to say Z900, guess I'm just a casual ?
  15. It's very unlikely that I can do this in 2020 but next year I might be interested.
  16. There are usually quite a few DR650's for sale in France, would that be a pain to register in Spain ? https://www.leboncoin.fr/motos/1765249795.htm/ https://www.leboncoin.fr/motos/1762596757.htm/
  17. You're not wrong Pete. On one of our trips to the Pyrenees we were stopped at a cafe somewhere in France. The patron brought out the coffee's and then proceeded to check out the bikes. He got excited when he saw the Welsh flags on some of the bikes, he asked if we were Welsh. As I was the best French speaker I told him that they were all Welsh except for me . He asked where I was from, when I told him I was English he looked at me and spat on the floor . All my mates pissed themselves laughing, I just laughed along with them ?
  18. '12 corner guarentee' where's the Mutley emoji ?
  19. Where shall we start......... Blocked injectors, unresolved electrical problems and most of all rockers that shat themselves and totalled your engine. These are all things that I've come across from mates who own them. They're a real 'friday afternoon' bike, I have two mates who have put 20,000 miles on theirs with no real problems and I have other mates who have spent £2000 on an engine rebuild after the bike had done less than 9,000 miles.
  20. Rare bikes, I don't think I've ever seen one ? IMG_5707.mp4
  21. I've got a mate who's got one Fred, very nice bike. They seem to have cured the problems that you got with the KTM 690.
  22. They're shit , I wouldn't bother. Just spend another £4000 on top and you can get a KTM790 ?
  23. I've got a mate who has several bikes in his garage that he's bought but never rides. Not only does he not ride them but he's done zero maintenance either so they're just sat there rotting away. I just don't get it and I've tried to buy one of them off him so I can do a semi-resto job on it but he just refuses my offers. I think he just has them so that he can say, I've got one of those ?
  24. I remember watching a programme where they put an E-Type Jag on the grid against a Honda Accord saloon. The Honda thrashed the Jag off the line and right up to the 1/4 mile finish line, old ain't always better.
