I have the clear one on my Donkey (DR650), it's ace. When we were riding in Spain I came out of paying for fuel and my tank had gone blue !! Who knew that Repsol colour their petrol blue ?

Like I said Tym, find someone with an ultrasonic cleaner. If you had shit in the main jet it's likely to be in other places that you can't see, it's the only way to clean a carb properly ?

I've used peaked helmets for over 20 years, in fact I don't use anything else. My favourite is the Arai Tour Cross, I've had four of them all told and I never have any vibration problems but I'm a shortarse (5' 8 '') and I think that helps. Last year I bought a Klim Krios Karbon which as it suggests is mainly carbon, it is superbly light but the peak is rubbish for hiding the glare of the sun. What a great adventure. I have a mate who lives a couple of hours south of Limoges, great area for trail riding.
