We used to ride a lot of old railway tracks in the Valleys, the authorities have done their best to stop you getting onto them now

You silly man, you're forgetting that I live here, what could be more attractive

I thought he was more of a propeller fiddler

Tomorrow is beer day, it's the only day I have a drink really so I look forward to it. Apart from that I may jack up my car to see if I can find an annoying rattle.

My DR650 is still my favourite bike, wether the T700 will overtake it remains to be seen .

Your plan sounds doable Chris although I've no idea why you want to go to Brighton, it's just full of queers standing around on the beach with thongs on . Cheddar gorge is nice but might be a bit of a let down compared with the Gorge du Tarn, Verdon etc I would be more than happy to guide you around the Cotswolds and Bath.

and the bridge is free now ???????

All Suzuki's under 200cc are built in China now.

I'm sure, I mean they're basically a VW nowadays but you know that for blokes of a certain age 'Skoda' is just a precuser to taking the piss

What Was So Special About The Ducati Paso?
boboneleg replied to Hugh Janus's topic in MOTORCYCLE REVIEWS
There is absolutely nothing good about them, you can't give them away. I sold a front wheel with a good tyre on it (they're 16'' jobbies) on auction and got 99p for it -
I'm pretty sure Pete wore every one of those items

Like Chris said, a bloody Transit van ?

I like to think that I'm not a bike snob, i've owned lots of different makes of bikes. In recent years I've had a lot of european bikes, some good, some not so but at the moment I have three 'Jap' bikes. Nowadays your bike could be built anywhere, I have a Yamaha that was built in France, a Suzuki that was built in Japan and a Honda that was built in Thailand

I thought it was the Terminator riding that Kawasaki

I feel your pain Bruce, growing up is hard enough without the burden of being different. My son has apergers, he was lucky as we got him into a special needs school so he didn't suffer as those kids don't judge. I can only say that it gets a bit easier (but not simple) as they get older. Paolo is 26 now, he sings in a choir , he goes to college one day a week to learn languages and generally keeps busy. He's not interested in a mobile phone (phew) but there's still a lot of anxiety at times.

I feel your pain Ren , I went to one last year. I talked to my mate about him and yes he knew him as well. RIP Alan jones.

Personally I don't give a flying fuck about the economy, that's all a lot of people ever think about , money. 'Growth' I hear that all the time, why has the economy got to grow all the time. The economy will survive, lives are more important .

That looks shit Pete, I don't know how you put up with all that traffic
-
I've ridden two 1090's and 1190 before that, they are nice bikes but it's not a proper KTM imo, the 950/990's are true KTM's .
-
Mainly I shall be doing f**k all , the same as most days last week . I'm not going back to work yet and my bikes are still sorned.
-
You have it in a nutshell Sofia, Honda's are always easy to ride. European bikes take a bit more thought but have much more soul. My Transalps and Africa Twins rode themselves, the KTM's would bite you if you took liberties ?

I rode to a filling station to get some petrol on my Lambretta when I first had it, after paying I came out and couldn't find my helmet. After a lot of searching I rode home without it thinking someone had stolen it. When I got back I found it sitting on the shelf in my flat
