  1. That’s what I use mine for
  2. Yes, they are more of an 'American' fit than an 'Italian' . If you do decide on Klim and you're going to use it in winter months you will need a down jacket or something underneath. I use my Rukka in winter as it is warmer.
  3. lol, I have bits of paper with suspension settings all over my garage
  4. I’m still in bed, bloody lurgy
  5. Loads of them over here. Favoured by the scroates who deliver drugs etc
  6. I’ve had three Klim jackets @Pedro Ive still got my Overland and I have a Carlsbad as well now as well as overland and Dakar trousers. In my experience the fit is on the big size especially compared to Dainese. Our sizes are done in S M L XL etc but I can measure my jacket if you like
  7. Great views Chris especially from up above the lake. That food looks far too poncey for my liking. I’ve ridden through a storm like that on my way to the Pyrenees , it makes you question your sanity but you push on regardless.
  8. What size are you @Clive ?
  9. That's exactly how I see it as well, he was the glue and everything else that kept it going .
  10. Is that Dow Corning's plant in Barry Fred ?
  11. I have man flu, I have to got to go to a funeral today and now I've just heard that there's a chance of heavy showers this afternoon, feckin whoopee .................
  12. In 2002 I was in a pretty low place. I'd had an accident the year before in which I lost my leg and now I was sitting at home after more surgery just moping around. I decided to get a PC and see if there was anything on the internet to brighten things up a bit. I came across a motorcycle forum that looked a good laugh and started to get to know some of the characters, @Buckster, @Renegade @YamaHead @MooN @Catteeclan @Pedro @Tym @Specs @Sir Fallsalot @yen_powell and many more (my apologies to anyone I've forgotten). They were an eclcectic bunch with all sorts of views but most of all no one took themselves too seriously . The guy who ran it @XTreme was my kind of man as @Saul says above, a straight talker but bloody funny at the same time. I can't tell you how much it lifted my spirits and it was my 'go to' forum. When Pete started this forum up I was so excited to catch up with old friends and carry on with the banter and meet (virtually) lots of new guys and gals as well. No other forum I've been on has ever matched any of Pete's creations, he led from the front and was always trying to keep things chugging along . Good luck today Pete an wherever you end up I'm certain you'll be having a laugh.
  13. Winner , winner, chicken dinner. Nice one Pete
  14. Of that there is no doubt
  15. I think it will depend on the arrangements Lyn , if it’s a funeral in Spain it will probably be done tomorrow or next day. They don’t prolong it in Mediterranean countries
  16. Any help I can give you just ask @Pedro . I expect I feel like many here in that I feel a bit useless , I love to go to his funeral or do something for him but can't do a lot from here
  17. I knew her and it was a shock as I hadn't seen her post anything for a while , I just googled her name and came across the service online . I've spoken to her ex-boyfriend since , it was even more of a shock for him as he didn't know
  18. I does happen, I watched one from Sweden .
  19. @Buckster I'm not a religious person but I'd be happy if you'd say a prayer for him and his wife if you go to church today.
  20. OMG that's absolute shit news . It's very hard to hard to find any words
