Nice filters , is the little orange one for the breather ?

It'll be interesting to see , that was in the back of my mind but it's easy to reverse the procedure .

No, the last thing I want is a loud bike. The silencer has a bit more of a bark than standard but it's not excessive like FMF pipes are.

Just a little tip here, if you have a bike where the seat is secured by bolts underneath the mudguard get yourself some of these neat wingnuts. It makes the job of removing the seat so much easier .

This morning I did the airbox 'flapper' mod. So the airbox has a flap inside it which is vacuum controlled by a unit sat on top of the box , the unit has a hook on the end which pulls the flap up to let more air in when needed. Here I have taken it out and blanked off the hose with a screw............... Then I put some double-sided tape under the flap and secured it so it is fully open all the time................. and that's it , job done. The bike should breathe better now with the new silencer and servo motor removed. The next job will be the removal of the AIS (air induction system).

Morning. There’s been a bit of talk about van action but no evidence yet. Is this going to be a similar event as a track day with no video ….. just asking

You're not wrong

I had a pass out today so after taking a mattress to the dump I got the Sled out for it's first proper ride of this year. I didn't have any particular destination in mind so I just pointed it out of the garage and set off . Over to Keynsham and then I joined the A39 and then the A37 to just north of Shepton Mallet . From there I took the spine road over the Mendips and through to Frome. The Sled was running really well, I love using the torque of that motor when coming out of bends. I ended up at Bradford-on-Avon where I parked up and had a stroll , lots of peeps about enjoying the sun and the sights of Bradford.................. On the way back I spotted a nice looking old pub so I stopped for a pint and a bag of crisps while I sat outside basking in the sun........... I had been thinking about selling the Sled as I only use it for six months of the year but today I changed my mind, it's a great bike for nice sunny days like today

Brilliant photos @Pedro , those little villages are absolutely ace . I've ridden through similar places in Italy and Spain but I always feel like I'm intruding when you ride through those narrow streets .
