I've had three DRZ's . There is a trail model 'S' and an enduro model 'E' . The E has the livelier engine and the S has more road niceties. They are great bikes apart from the lack of a 6th gear but the newest one would be over 15 years old now. Having said that if you buy a good one it won't lose value but there are some proper dogs out there which could be a money pit. This one is decent as it's almost standard so you know it hasn't been mucked about ......... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145712371681?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D777008%26algo%3DPERSONAL.TOPIC%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20230811123856%26meid%3Df624ebe8b2ad4e1c9362fe5112fd1e47%26pid%3D101770%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26itm%3D145712371681%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D4375194%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2&_trksid=p4375194.c101770.m146925&_trkparms=parentrq%3Ac97800a218e0a4f2f37602b5ffffe35c|pageci%3Af32877df-f76f-11ee-bfcd-8acb9bdb13f9|iid%3A1|vlpname%3Avlp_homepage

It could be easier or it could send him skyward if he yanks the throttle too hard ..................

There are so many variables when equating engine hours to miles but as a ball park figure that is about 4520 miles. What has the bike been used for , has it raced enduro's or just trail-riding ? If it's a race bike then you'd be getting close to needing a top end rebuild if it hasn't already been done. Is it road registered ?

It looks in good nick and well equipped for that money.

bmw k100 rs. storing it for 10 years or more

I would just try and start it first , keep your eye on the temperature gauge once it's been running for a couple minutes , turn it off and check the oil to make sure it's not milky . If that's all good take it for a short run (keep close to home) to check that the brakes are still good. -
What Fred said, a 350 will be plenty enough off road, if you turn out to be Billy Big Balls then you could move up to the 500 or get a smoker .

It might be warmer (less humid) where you are but we get problems with blocked injectors and expanding fuel hoses with the crap fuel and humidity here -

I don't know much about that bike but the worse thing now with storing bikes for a long time is the fuel. I see that you've used a stabilizer but that doesn't always stop the injectors getting gummed up. -
This is decent and it's the six days model so an easy sell-on if you don't get on with it .......... https://www.autotrader.co.uk/bike-details/202403288054512?sort=relevance&advertising-location=at_bikes&make=KTM&model=EXC&page=1&postcode=BS7 9SG&year-to=2024&fromsra How tall are you @Six30 ? thery're not for short peeps

No enduro bike comes with long service intervals. Having said that if you’re only trail riding then you won’t have to do it as much as you would if you were racing. The KTM 350/500 exc’s are light and powerful, just change the oil every 1000 miles and they will be fine .
