If you had a KLR you'd feel the same after replacing your doohickey every 10 miles!

All this stuff is pretty local to me Bob.

In accordance with the restrictions here in Spain I went out to get a coffee! And somehow I took the wrong turning again and ended up in the middle of nowhere! Damn Google Maps!

For Summer a 20 year old thin Cordura thing.......same one I had when you were here!
-
And it's too bloody hot here Clive. I went out early but I was still sweating!
-
Now to find a valid reason to go out on the bike! Mine for today is going to be to visit some godforsaken remote place that has a cafe/restaurant at the endpoint.....to have a coffee! And then not have one!

You killed the unkillable Tym! But it did try to kill you first!

In the early 70's in Britain there was miles of old former railway tracks right across the UK, and I used to follow them on my little Honda XL. Some of the stations were still standing as well. Then they converted them into bloody nature walks so access for the likes of us was gone. Seems they did the same in Spain.

Spanish govt restrictions say that you have to be riding for a specific reason. Therefore I was going to the bike dealer in Baza and somehow took a wrong turning! We've all done it! Amazingly I ended up at the site of the former Caniles railway station which first opened in 1894. It was located next to the former “Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes” sugar factory which shut down in 1973. The line itself finally closed in 1984, but the former station buildings have since been restored, and the railway tracks have now been replaced by country walks.

Brilliant Pedro! The GS looks amazing!

Why don't you think of Southern Spain? April/May and September/October are not too hot.......and you could schedule it at the same time as @Pedro's Meet. Here's the comparison...... Or........ No brainer as far as I'm concerned!

You get them all then Ray. We don't get many Brits coming to this region......bit too bleak and harsh for them. And out of those who do come here most tend not to last that long. https://www.elespanol.com/reportajes/grandes-historias/20170519/217228671_0.html

You're in the West Country! I would class the south as Kent, Sussex, Dorset, Hampshire etc.

@MooN........what I can't get my head around is why a bunch of French guys want to tour Britain? You could go down to the Pyrenees and northern Spain, or across into Bavaria, or even up to somewhere like Denmark. And all in the Schengen area. Plus you may not be covered with your EU health card, you may need to get a visa, and your free mobile roaming will be gone. Also, the weather in Britain is bound to be shit, traffic backed up everywhere, and generally not particularly attractive as a holiday destination.

When is that likely to change Phil?

How much longer are you incarcerated Bruce?

Now this is a blast from the past! It goes without saying that I'll be Styling and Profiling! And it's for the first time since the beginning of March! We're now into the season of early morning rides due to the temperatures, and it'll probably be like this for the next four months! Obviously there'll be a valid reason that I'm going to be in the area that I'm going (as per Government directives).......and I'll figure one out by tomorrow. There will of course be a Ride Report.......and it will have stunning pics and an inspirational video! It will also be in a very unusual location which has a history going back to the 19th century! So.......what are you lot doing?

What Buck said!

Doesn't want to go to Wales but he's well up for hanging round Gay beaches! There's a word for people like that.......I think @Buckster can shed some light on this!

Budget stuff for Asian markets I expect. The only Suzukis I'd buy is the Strom and the DR.......but we haven't had those for years.
