  1. What made you decide to go to Edinburgh Ian?
  2. OK then....that wasn't the Zed1.
  3. It's confirmed! @Buckster is not a Casual! But there's still time for others to distance themselves from this demographic........because until proven otherwise......you're a Casual. So the more times you try......the greater the odds of removing this stigma! Keep going @BusBoy Here's another question......Which bike had the most BHP per CC in 1973?
  4. You got it! He was a legend! And he got the Thunderball gig because he was only 5'3" so he could double for a woman due to his stature!
  5. No.....it was 4 years later!
  6. What Buck said! Do any of you really want to be in a place like this?
  7. Cost of living is a lot cheaper here Ian.
  8. Just to warn you that some of this lot are seriously stupid fuckers Ray. And if history is anything to go by they'll end in the hospital.
  9. Fuck that! I may not ever get back into Spain again!
  10. Here's a trivia question to see who knows their shit......and who's a Casual! A British racer rode a motorcycle for one of the actors in one of the biggest movies of the 1960's! Can you tell me the rider, the film, the bike......and post up the actual clip! And extra points if you can tell me why HE was specifically chosen to do the riding! Essentially......what was different about him compared to other racers that got him chosen? If you avoid the thread......you're a Casual! If you get it wrong.....you're a Casual! And if you get it right, the likelihood is you fucking cheated! So you're still a Casual! So come on then......give me the answer! And prove to everybody else that you're not the twat that everybody thinks you are!
  11. The strange things is there's a few Spanish ladies that have done well in motorcycle sport though like Laia Sanz and María Herrera.
  12. Don't see many ladies out on bigger bikes here in Spain @Grace (BikeHedonia). In the cities there's loads of them on little scooters and mopeds.......so they can ride, and some of them don't hang about on them either. But as for taking it further it's very rare to see any.
  13. This is the main one here Bruce! Ren, Lyn, and Dell stayed there. http://www.hotelpatri.com/
  14. About 300 miles Dave! This is where you should have gone.......about 30 minutes from me. There's camping with wifi and also caves as well......which maintain an 18C temp all year round.
  15. You got it! This is actually a useful function to have on a forum.
  16. Put the @ symbol, then start typing the first few letters of the username. When you see the name you want in the box that appears then just click it.
  17. Here's a true story Dave! When I came over here in October 2005 I needed to return the hire car back to the UK. Got lost somewhere in France in the early hours of the morning and stopped at a service area to get directions. The cafe was full of truckers and I tried my best to get across that i needed to get back to Britain. They weren't remotely interested in helping me. Then thinking back to French I did in school I remembered "Pays de Galles" (Wales) and told them I was from there. Total change! They all wanted to shake my hand and buy me coffee. A few of them could even speak decent English and were telling me about how welcome they were made in Cardiff when they went there for the rugby. They fucking loved the Welsh! Eventually one of them said to follow him and he got me back on the motorway. Now I'm not saying it's a disadvantage being English.......it's more a case of having an advantage if you're not!
  18. Well I hope you can show more photographic evidence of the next 50 years riding than you've managed over the previous 30+ years Ian! What you say @Tym?
  19. I wonder why that might be Dave? @Specs @Sir Fallsalot.........you ever experienced this?
  20. It's a great idea Pedro.......here's the things we've got to consider: 1. Who's coming and where they're travelling from? 2. How long virus restrictions are going to be in place? 3. What needs to be in place for Brits due to Brexit repercussions? Like possible visas, health cover, loss of mobile roaming etc. 4. Timing......late June to the end of August are out of the question due to the heat. December, January, and February should also be avoided due to variable Winter conditions. Unfortunately we can't plan anything at the moment.......because we could still have restrictions of sorts in place this time next year. Putting the idea out there to gauge interest is all we can do at the moment. In fact given our ages now......this could be the Last Dance! @Specs @boboneleg @Renegade @Catteeclan @DangerRuss58 @Skippy @Sir Fallsalot @Buckster @Sofia @Cupid Stunt @Muddy @yen_powell @Pedro @MooN @BusBoy
