  1. If you flounce and stay you'll be a Flouncing Floater!
  2. And there's a McDonalds round the corner from the Pet supermarket!
  3. And tomorrow I'm off to Granada! Don't mind so much because I need to get some clothes in the Nevada Mall...... The wife also wants to visit the Pet supermarket......and I don't mind going round those either.
  4. Just been into the Medical Centre and booked my pre-op tests for Monday......no piss sample required. But in case they change their mind on the day I will be carrying some piss with me.
  5. My Honda hasn't been started for 3 weeks......but when I hit the button on the weekend it'll instantly fire up! Did you want a vid of this happening so you can see what a real motorcycle looks like? And surprisingly it's less than a quarter of the price of yours!
  6. I reckon this one's pretty suspect.......
  7. Around that Lionel.......though I can remember it in the 30's!
  8. Your father would relate more to Life on Mars than you would! The attention to detail for that era, not just cars and fashions, but speech, attitudes, music etc is incredible. Life on Mars ranks right up there with The Prisoner in terms of great TV. Ashes to Ashes wasn't as good, but it did have an epic ending when all was revealed.
  9. They'll already have the test results when I get there.....just have to book it in the Health Centre tomorrow. As you know, I did have tests done in July anyway, and at the time the doc said that the slightly high BP I had wouldn't have delayed the op. But I don't have to do the Covid test yet.....it has to be the day before. Normally how many days after the Preparatory would I have the op?
  10. The scenery changing was well done.......
  11. My Kawasaki 500 H1F was around 20 to 25!
  12. The old Honda 750 Fours were around 40 mpg so still pretty decent. Though back in those days the price of petrol wasn't such a big deal.
  13. Much difference in fuel consumption?
  14. None of this to be seen......
  15. Just had a call from Baza Hospital......I've got an appointment 9AM next Thursday (2 November) for Preparatory. Got to go and get my tests done in the Health Centre here as soon as possible. What happens at this Preparatory appointment @Slowlycatchymonkey?
  16. Rugged Individualism Clive!
  17. Maybe he went to the hitherto undisclosed location where he allegedly does some work?
  18. I may well give that a try......it's just that dubbed programmes do my head in.
  19. Ashes to Ashes did tie up the two series very well though.
  20. I'm not that keen on the futuristic sci-fi ones......I'm into the going back in time to try and change things type of stuff. Though it pisses me off that the Yanks always have to have them based on stopping the JFK assassination. There's plenty of other bad shit they could try and stop. And what about a Brit one going back in time to stop the Farage and Bozos? And obviously Thatch as well. Throw Savile in too! Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes were great examples of how to do it, but the all time greatest has to be the original of "The Time Machine" with Rod Taylor from 1960. I saw that as a young kid and I was hooked on time travel from thereon. Not interested in any other sci-fi.
  21. Sounds great Ray.......if I didn't have a Hernia I'd be well up for that sort of peasant labour!
  22. If you all had nice Hondas you wouldn't be going through this trauma!
