I just watched this again Fred......and it's pretty painful to watch. I don't aspire to be a proficient offroader, and thankfully I know my limitations. I'm not sure some of those guys do though. They keep falling over when they're not even moving! WTF? If they're novices why aren't they on something like a CRF as one guy was? He must have been pissing himself at those guys struggling with those big bikes.

The bike was washed on Sunday so this morning was polishing and then clean and lube the chain. I get back from NL late Saturday night and the temps on Sunday are forecast to be around 40C. So I doubt that it'll be going anywhere for a while.

The wife is taking one of those cases on wheels and I'll just be taking hand luggage for my laptop and any other odds and ends which don't go in the big case. I was going to take one of the backpacks I've got but then I found this......a freebie from David Jones Honda Centre in Shrewsbury when I bought a new Transalp 20 years ago. Never actually used it before.......but it's a decent size, much more space than a backpack. And it fits in with the Honda lifestyle of course!

It's the really noisy night of the neighbourhood fiesta tonight......wailing Dago music till 6AM. Just looked and a bunch of guys are at the beer tent, with their horses tethered up there! They'll all get bladdered and then get their horses to take them home!

Started watching "The Pact" on HBO.......originally on the BBC and set in Wales! Seems very good so far!

After feeding the horses the wife now wants to go into town to get shoes and a bag for NL. And it's already got hotter earlier than I expected.......so it'll be tomorrow when I go on my Dark Motorcycling trip.
