Update: NL is apparently having the worst storm it's ever had. And we're flying into it. To make matters worse, all train services have now been stopped. So when we get there we've got to stay in a Hotel in Amsterdam and take the train tomorrow. Next up is the arrival of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

To put this into perspective, this is the first time in 40 years together that we've booked a flight! Alarm goes off at 4AM......I check my mail and I get this....... I notify the driver who's taking us, then 30 mins later I get this..... So I phone the driver back and tell him to pick us up at 8am. Just printed off the new boarding passes and we've got to wait 3 hours. No hope of getting back to sleep now! And we're taking a detour to fucking Barcelona now!

My boy just rang me to let me know that a severe storm is hitting Amsterdam tomorrow morning......around about the time we're due to get there. Apparently he thinks there's a possibility our flight will be delayed or even cancelled. And if it's not, then we're likely to get a lot of turbulence along with a rough landing!

I just watched this again Fred......and it's pretty painful to watch. I don't aspire to be a proficient offroader, and thankfully I know my limitations. I'm not sure some of those guys do though. They keep falling over when they're not even moving! WTF? If they're novices why aren't they on something like a CRF as one guy was? He must have been pissing himself at those guys struggling with those big bikes.

The bike was washed on Sunday so this morning was polishing and then clean and lube the chain. I get back from NL late Saturday night and the temps on Sunday are forecast to be around 40C. So I doubt that it'll be going anywhere for a while.
