I think the flu itself has gone......it's the aftermath of it that we're dealing with now!

Me and the wife just got back from the Urgency dept! They prescribed me some strong anti-inflammatories to help me with the stomach and back strain due to coughing!

Still feeling like shit and my back and sides are killing me because of the coughing I've done. Had to go and feed the horses in 0C temps and snowing like hell.....and on the way back I had a call from Jake's school. We were only round the corner so we went round there straight away.......seems he'd had an accident in the snow and soaked his trousers. So he needed a change of clothes. Phoned my boy from the school and said we were going to be at the house in two minutes to pick clothes up and take them back to him. He told her and she said SHE was going to take them to him. Which entailed a 15 minute walk while it was snowing and leaving him in wet clothes for an extended period. Fucking mental!

What sort of price for a service Saul?

Humidifier seems to be working......there's a remote control with all sorts of settings. I was up at 6......had a coughing fit! Went downstairs and it stopped. Couldn't get back to sleep then so got on with work. Been very dry and tickly today as opposed to phlegmy and raspy......so it seems to be drying up a bit. Stomach and back injured by the coughing isn't so painful either. So I suppose that compared to 2 weeks ago I am better......but a long way from recovered.

I got no time for these one-legged super spreaders!
