Depends what sort of offroad you're referring to though. I'm talking about the sort of radical terrain that @Sir Fallsalot does from time to time. Sure, there's guys with the ability to get a GS through that sort of stuff.....but why risk potentially wrecking a 20K machine when you could get a cheap WR250 which would be much better suited.

The problem with the manufacturers now is they're making bikes look like they have offroad capabilities......when in fact they're just road bikes with different styling. The FB bike group pages are full of people taking massive machines on terrain that is only suitable for for small, light, dirt bikes.

But the bike sales portals here group them in the Trail category.

Why do all these manufacturers make such weird shit today? And how can bikes like NC's, Tracers, Versys etc be included in the trail category? They've got standard roadgoing 17" front wheels. At least the Strom has a 19" front wheel, and the CB500X has recently got a 19" too. However.....even this has a 19" front wheel..... ......and that don't look like a trail bike to me!

I didn't protest about it at all. My point was always let people leave the town etc but shut the bars......cos that's where it was spreading. The wave that came after the Easter relaxation of restrictions proved that. So everybody had to suffer because of the fucking pissheads!
