Is Bruce entering his ass in BOTM? -
Yeh......you need to make a twat of yourself on here ideally Ray! But if you had a vid of you pinning yourself under the bike and posted it on here.......then you'd have made a twat of yourself on the forum. So external twattishness is permissible if it can be introduced onto the forum.

Well there are people who have the gall to join a bike forum without a camera Bruce!

In less than two months time we'll be having the official polls for Man of the Year (MOTY) and Twat of the Year (TOTY) 2020. Obviously if one of our ladies wins then the title will be WOTY for the duration. As you know, no Mods/Admin can be nominated for MOTY.......because making a positive contribution to the board is supposed to be part of the gig. But as for TOTY.....it's a free for all....and everybody's in the running! It's all to play for! So from now on you need to keep your eyes open for people who are making a positive contribution on the board.......and for those who are just Twats. It goes without saying that the former will be more difficult to spot than the latter!

Yeh.....people came out of lockdown and went berserk! It was like......"Well I might die of Covid.......so I'm getting a fucking Beemer while I still can! Who cares how much the payments are......I ain't going to be around to pay them anyway!"
-
Particularly trail/adventure bikes.......there's not much left in Granada, Almeria, or Murcia now for less than €5K. Beemers don't stay in showrooms long......they seem to be outselling all the others by a very wide margin.
-
I paid €3.5K for the Strom from a dealer in Almeria......15 months and 7k kms later I got €3.5K back in part ex from a dealer in Granada......and it's now back up for sale HERE at €4.4K.

Have they started rioting in Manchester yet? I'll be surprised if they do....my money was always on the Scousers kicking it off first!
-
I'll keep the BMW brand in focus while you're locked up Alan!

I can't even take a bar end bolt off.......and I don't have a Buffer!

I brought the Beemer home two weeks ago yesterday.....and I could see the chrome was going to need some attention. That's because polishing can be hard work......and as the Dagos have a genetic predisposition to avoid the aforementioned hard work......I knew it was going to take time. There's still a long way to go to restore it to a standard that I consider acceptable......but you can visibly see a difference in two weeks! Look at the rear silencer and the pipe in the first pic (2 weeks ago), then compare it to the second pic (today).

Why do you want to open your reply in a new window Yen? This isn't 2005. And it would be completely impractical on mobile! If you want to quote something (other than the complete post) just highlight the text.....put the mouse on it and you see the Quote Selection option. Click it and go straight to your reply.....

I'm seeing reports that everyone in Wales except critical workers must stay at home for two weeks from Friday 6pm! And @Sir Fallsalot only just got let out!
-
I've now added a "Clear Notifications" option if you want to clear them in one hit. You don't get this shit on ButtRider.....tell 'em @Tym
-
Is there? But isn't Husqvarna part of KTM now?
-
You going to take it offroad? How about that place where they dump dead hookers?
-
Really goes well!

Euro emissions have killed them all off Fred! I think this Beemer is one of the last made! So as I said to Pedro......where do I go after this? The CRF250L is a great little bike by all accounts.......but 24bhp is going to be a struggle! So that's why I'm hoping the Beemer is going to be reliable......because I'm all out of options now! And I have to say that the difference with having the tank under the seat is very noticeable......no more top heavy feel.

They don't have a sun dial do they? -
If this thing proves to be reliable......and only time will tell on that......then this could be the one I keep forever! And for me to say that it has to be something special. Thing is......where do I go after this because there's no more big Thumpers being made apart from the KTM! And they're too offroad focussed for my use.......and I'd question it's reliability.
-
Never would Pedro......too big and too heavy. This thing is like a toy to ride after the Strom, and as you know the Strom is a lot lighter than a GS.
-
Best thing......just stick to cleaning like I do!
