Yeah waiting until the tyres are shot.

They have set them but I can fiddle with them, they have the spring rate and valving for my weight less a bit I guess as there is a little bit of preload on, I will try them as is and fiddle with them later if need be. Come with a nice little tool for setting preload.

Looks like I will have to finish it tomorrow, I need a 1 5/16 socket or 33mm to torque up the axle. The original is 36mm but the people who make the after market have obviously changed it, pretty sure I don’t have one, have just about everything else.

Still putting it back together.

New axle fitted. New shocks, half inch longer than the originals. Fitted. Just have to tension the belt with the new much better axle adjusters that will no longer concern me unlike the kak half moon set up on the original and everything can go back together.

I saw an RS200 today, I didn’t think there were any left, I was on the bike so no pictures but I was trying to work out why this Mazda sports car had a Ford badge. It was being driven gently so I guess it is someone’s pride and joy as a collectors car.
