  1. You are 5’10”, that isn’t tall.
  2. Halfords contact cleaner, just don’t touch the sensor inside, rinse it out until it runs clear then let it dry for an hour before putting it back on.
  3. It’s okay, it’s clear you are one of those people that are not mechanically minded so you cannot work basic stuff out even when there is a clear photo. When you see this you just think it is some sort of magic where the rest of us see what it is, just as well you are not a mechanic, your customers would be fucked.
  4. If they can get the price under £4500 then it could sell, otherwise people will get the Triumph.
  5. I still think it will be the mass airflow sensor and the fault will return.
  6. It’s the idle screw, it is a cable operated throttle, it even has a thumb wheel on it.
  7. That's because you are fat.
  8. Well I said it might be desirable, you don’t read well do you? It may be that currently the forks are too stiff, reducing preload would soften them and allow a little more sag. On the other hand you don’t want them too soft as you are not doing anything to the rebound springs and there is only rudimentary damping so there could be an issue with oscillation being introduced. Personally I would buy a second set of forks and shorten them but I can do that.

I just had a look and I don’t think Scotland will win the final.
  10. Gary Glitter boots more likely.
  11. This is the stuff, not a ride to Starbucks with a snow mobile and some random guy in a car, come on you lot, get your act together, Eric spends two thirds of the year snowbound and rides more than most of you put together, brings us epic reports like this, rebuilds his bike using an elastic band and a toothbrush, dodges law enforcement, drinks warm beer and eats rattle snakes for breakfast. Meanwhile you lot are worried that you have the wrong air in your tyres.
  12. What are you on about? Most conventional forks use preload spacers.
