  1. My insurance has all that but £600 deductible.
  2. I hate this place and I hate all of you, especially Bruce.
  3. What general mood? I must have missed something.
  4. Well Rotax don’t make any parts for it so where do you think the parts come from?
  5. Except now it’s Chinese, Rotax have not made components for that engine since 2008.
  6. Another vote for Bruce here.
  7. So now you admit it is not a Rotax engine? You will find the licence to produce that motor is owned by Loncin, as you say Loncin can only brand it Loncin in certain markets but all parts are sourced in China now, there are no Austrian parts in there.
  8. https://www.rotax.com/en/100-years/historical-vehicles-engines/detail/type-654.html Note that it was not produced after 2008, yet that engine is in your bike.
  9. You are just going to have to accept you have a Chinese engine, add a bit of soy sauce to the engine oil and it will perform better.
  10. That is a big problem in Scotland, a green lane can easily go 20 or 30 miles and just end.
  11. If it dips to the middle it is legal, it is only a problem if it dips to the right.
  12. Pointless without rocket launchers.
  13. Is your working week based on the number of intact limbs you have? (Asking for a friend.)
  14. Yes it is legal, what is the issue with the DR? It is a led bulb conversion in a halogen headlight?
  15. So I just got my insurance quote, bike has not been insured for the year because of the lockdowns, best is £91 fully comp which I am quite happy with from Carol Nash and is actually £2 less than my yearly vehicle tax.
  16. If you have the right tools it is straight forward, don't get the ratchet style crimpers, the best are the Engineer Precision made in Japan but there are other decent ones as well. I generally use the Engineer Precision crimper for the wire terminals then a generic type for the larger sleeve crimp.
  17. A good dollop of rice and noodles prevents piston slap.
  18. The design rights to the Rotax 654 were bought out by Loncin a few years ago, If your bike is a 2009 or 2010 then most of the engine internals will have been shipped to China from Austria for assembly but after 2010 the whole engine was made in China. As the rights are owned by Loncin they can badge the motor as Rotax. Loncin also manufacture other engines under the guise of Rotax China which are sold for light aircraft that Rotax Austria does not serve.
  19. It will be fucked in two years anyway with all that Chinese shite breaking off in there.
