First bike I ever rode was a Honda CM200 which was based on a 200cc Benly. The picture below is the same type. We were in the local park, in the middle of some grass at about 10pm. I did everything my mate told me except put it in gear, so when I opened the throttle, let the clutch out and picked my feet up I just went over sideways and lay there gurgling under it. My second attempt saw me riding in a giant circle changing gear with no clutch and kangarooing finally to a stop.

I'd be fitting it with a big hotel type key tag so it's hard to drop without hearing a loud clatter. Then I'd rig up a hook or carabiner near where a key would go in a proper car and hang it on that when driving so I get used to removing it and putting it in my preferred pocket when leaving the car.

No idea, there were a few wrecks sitting about on the marshes, some were marked on a local info map (not this one though). I do have pictures taken through the window, it's not so good looking inside. -
I blame Pete.

On my way home from north Norfolk.... which apparently is different from normal Norfolk.

That looks terrible, time for a new hip.

Snowing here right now, due to be heavy for a few hours then a mixture of rain and snow. I have lucked out this weekend, a dry run to Norfolk on Friday with an expectation of snow for the journey back yesterday. I took the chance and had a dry run home as well, the snow only started last night. Weathermen, load of chancers!

My favourite was the man who had been posting his letters in the dog poo bins.

My mate's ex girlfriend is in that, one of the oddballs being interviewed for the newspaper. She is the one who claims she survived being impaled on a metal rod because of her body fat.

I think I've already mentioned the street at work I thought was named after some Arab geezer. Benledi Street. Turns out there should be a space in there that got missed out, it's named after somewhere in Scotland called Ben Ledi.

How's this?

They look promising. How long do you reckon before they go outside, is it months or years? I'd give it a few more weeks before you start building the tree house though.

An old lady in a tapered black top hat made my son jump when she suddenly popped out of the cottage near the castle. She was the worst Windy Miller impersonator I have ever seen.

Bister, went there once for work purposes. Like Worcester (Wooster). How about the name Beauchamp (Beecham)

I always said Larn because I thought that's what I heard others saying, to be fair they were Brummies living nearby.

I was looking at maps of my weekend route and this cracking name for a small wood leapt off the page at me.

Oooh, that reminds me, must go and turn the indoor valve off on my outside tap, thank you Pete.

Showing off with your proper length springs I see.

Rode home from work (brrr). Filled up my fuel tank and then actually hosed my bike down when I got home. First time ever, Just to get all the white shit off the thing (salt city)!! I thought best to hose it in the afternoon as if I wait my new neighbour will be home from work and he is always standing at his open door or in his garage with the door open. He's a smoker and I think the real house owner has forbidden him to smoke indoors. He always seems to be there when ever I step out my front door, even late at night and I can't stand an audience all the time. On the plus side his parking is excellent and I can get my bike in and out of the garage at any time without moving my car. Next time I ride the bike (Friday) I am off to Norfolk for the weekend via B roads. Shame it's winter, won't be able to check out toe numbers on the locals.
