And then whilst walking through Spitalfields Market to my exclusive London flat (hut!) I took some pictures of the Charnel House they discovered whilst rebuilding the area in the late 1990s. They boxed it in and put in a flight of stairs and lift for wheelchair users.

Today I got to site an hour before the crack of dawn. I walked through an empty Spitalfields to my London flat (hut). Remember the underground Edwardian toilet I took photos of inside? Well it's supposed to be turned into a bar and one of my mob is supposed to do the landscaping on top. A slight snag, the contractor doing the inside work has fucked off claiming it's too difficult after starting.

I reckon this building has 8 floors including the basement and the roof garden, admittedly 2 of them are additions. This a Georgian skyscraper!

I can still remember Steve Neville at the TRF AGM talking about using the internet and emails for contacting and recruiting members, he was laughed at, comments like, "Hardly anyone has a computer", were thrown about. He mentioned internet cafes (do they still exist?) and they rolled up like he was making it all up.

Jesus, I am sweating cobs. Wetter than a blindfolded lesbian in a fish market as they say in the posh end of town. I've had a real fight getting the fork back into the yokes. I'm about 2mm short compared to the other one that has remained undisturbed and I can no longer get enough grip to twist or push the thing any further. I have decided to use gravity to assist. I am refitting the wheel and will bounce it on the brakes to see if it moves up a little before putting the pinch bolts back in.

Got the fork mostly back together and the snap ring back in. Filled it with oil and waiting for it to settle before removing the excess. As usual, there is bloody oil everywhere, I'm like that Exxon Valdez when I get going, bird life will be wiped out for miles around my garage.

Using my Amazon spring compressor today, as usual I have managed to get oil all over the poxy place. My late Dad's early 70s foldy Workmate thing finally came in handy for something. Put the new seal on using the Amazon supplied bullet doobrey to stop it getting cut up by the sharp edges.

When you get patted down by the security people at the airport I'd have the receipt with you to show them before they snap on the rubber gloves. It's going to show up in the x-ray bit you stand in that they have at most airports now. I got pulled because I still had a handkerchief in a jean pocket that they could see on their machine. I had to hand it over and he took it gingerly between two fingers and put it in the property tray with my belt and coins.

Does the rubber knob attach to the front?

I've had a rare occasion where something hasn't arrived and they have sent another in its place with no quibbling. But that is for new stuff, especially if they are the actual supplier. I have bought a few secondhand books through them so that may have not been possible if anything had gone wrong as the supplying shop may not have another. You have to be careful with the reviews, they do not always match the item, I have seen the same review on two different releases of a DVD I have been searching for over many years, a film that some versions have a missing scene from. I suspect that someone at Amazon pulls in any review that is favorable and populates the comments section for all types of the same item, even when they are from a different supplier.

Showed someone this during a TEAMS meeting today, makes me laugh whenever I see it, the Blackwall Quads are all grown up and out and about. I've recently had a fork spring compressor tool and a fork seal driver via them, both of which which arrived within 36 hours of ordering and I am waiting on what I believe is called a fork seal bullet at the moment! I did once get a parcel with half the stuff I ordered and half someone else stuff inside the same box though. Just remember it's not one big shop, they are only mostly sending you stuff from other people these days, so experiences will vary greatly.

Just had my annual review with my manager, they are calling it that now, apparently my suggestion to call it a complete waste of time was rejected. I had to do a new declaration of interests and whilst I was filling in all that old bollocks I checked out the internal adverts. They had one last week that was titled 'Youth Violence and Drug Coordinator'. Does no one think these things through before hitting the send button?? Years ago there was one for a Breast Support Officer but it turned out it was about feeding babies and not what I hoped it was. Anyway, here is the advert of the month, £19.95 an hour. My first day back at work after a week long holiday in the sun. I had to read a set of accident reports for a proposed ped crossing location that was sent by the old bill. I am still laughing. I won't put the whole thing up, but first is the stick diagram and the official explanation of the accident. Then the incidental notes which cracked me up. Accident was between a P2W (motorcycle) and a car. The bike is the red arrow.

You need to get that into a bucket of disinfectant at once.

I have watched 3 episodes of Annika on i-player, I really like it. Tried one episode of The Gallows Pole, seemed to be a load of old tosh.
