No actually...it tastes pretty well the same has beef... Deer on the other has a distinct taste to it...not to crazy about deer meat...we use to eat it molasses when I was young...

What I see alot around here...we're in Salt belt so might be different ...pads tend to seize up where the sitt ...so every time you apply the brakes they don't release fully..
