  1. I bet you’re more concerned than Saul?
  2. Nah, a bit breezy but no problem
  3. Had a couple of hours out on the bike this morning, stayed local and made the most of the fabulous roads along the coast and up and over the mountains. Having made a few tweeks to the bike for my trip I thought I’d better check it was okay…….no dramas.
  4. No specific plans this weekend, still being a good boy and getting jobs done but probably take the bike for a spin on Sunday. No idea where, might just see on the day.
  5. No worries for man of your calibre
  6. For all of you with an open mind and not entrenched in your brand loyalty or Western snobbery, here’s the new Himalayan 450. The spec sheet is definitely an improvement over the old model and have to say I think it’s an improvement in looks too. Im interested.
  7. No mate and he’s only tiddler.
  8. He’s not really sure, slowed down to go over a narrow bridge which was almost a 90 degree turn to the right and saw a car coming across so he slowed a bit more to probably 20klm/h and he just sailed straight into the side of the car. He’s a very experienced rider, raced on the Isle of Man a couple of times and said the front wheel didn’t feel like it slid at all. He’s knocking on a bit now (nearly 80!) so he’s calling it a day which is a shame but he’s worried that he just lost momentary concentration. Lucky he only broke his ankle.
  9. Yes dear, I cut his bush.
  10. Well I’ve been doing some good deeds. A mate crashed his bike a couple of weeks ago and broke his ankle so I offered to help if anything needed doing………..like his bushes needed cutting……….do you think I’ll get my reward in heaven?
  11. We’ll there was clearly too much chlorine in your gene pool.
  12. It’s more fun to think of it as a credit system
  13. They are awarded when the good husband does something before he is asked. They are banked for future credit against something of a good husband might want to do. However, these credits can also be debited from the good husband account if he doesn’t do things that he has been asked to do. .The number of credits needed for any particular thing is subject to negotiation between a good husband, and the lucky wife, These credits are also known as gold stars in some societies.
  14. Giving the bike a check over for my upcoming trip in a couple of weeks time. Thought I’d do it now rather than last minute.……..oh and painting the outside of the garden walls to smarten them up and get some good-husband points in the bag.
  15. Didn’t know they had a Poundstretcher in there?
  16. Take some semen too……..you won’t need it for the tests but you never know who you might bump into
  17. Log burner mate………it’s very therapeutic cutting up logs with a chainsaw, stacking them and then making a fire up. Proper hunter gatherer stuff rather than an effeminate pellet burner.
  18. Fingers crossed mate, I’m sure there will be tales to tell and photographic evidence
  19. Sorted a trip up to the north east of Spain for mid November so fingers crossed the weather is reasonable. Clearly it won’t be as good as down here but a chance to meet up with UK based mates was too much to resist. Leaving on Thursday 16 November and heading to Lleida which is a fair old slog of about 650 klms if I avoid all motorways. Might use some motorway to kill a bit of distance first thing. On the Friday head across to Platja d’Aro for the Costa Brava classic two day trials event and three nights fun and games with my mates………Monday morning leave ‘kin early and head home, possibly in one hit……depending on the weather.
  20. He must be a unicorn then?
