  1. Agreed. She was pretty fit though.
  2. Don’t get me into trouble
  3. We’ve got the possibility of a few downpours tomorrow and then normal service resumes from Monday.
  4. Went well in a straight line
  5. I had a CB900F for a year or so and it was hideous. The bloody thing had been painted with silver Hammerite so at least it wasn’t going to rust! This is me and my Dutch mate on the outskirts of Rotterdam. We were both wankered but he couldn’t stand up properly so we chained his bike to a tree and he jumped on the back of mine. Our two girlfriends got a taxi and that’s how they took this photo. I should add that I was young and stupid and I think drink/driving wasn’t taboo in those days. Wouldn’t dream of doing now. Great memories………he married his girlfriend and they’re still together now. I didn’t.
  6. You’re not wrong Pete, I can ride around on a 17 inch but generally speaking it feels more normal to have 19 or 21 inches in front of me
  7. Good question mate, we’ve got an app on our tv which is a local thing, probably not legitimate but it can get almost everything.
  8. Ted Lasso for me, been meaning to watch it since it came out. Funny as f@@k.
  9. I’ll give you her number so you can explain it. Clearly I’m not able to do so.
  10. I’m more afraid that the local drivers won’t see me
  11. Do selfies count? In my defence I was knackered, very overheated and had a pre-puberty moment. I also had the offending earphones in but only whilst I was sitting down and recovering………….honest cunstable.
  12. Ahhhhh the story that just keeps giving
  13. You want a nice Royal Enfield you do. You’ll get a warranty with it and what’s more, you’ll get to claim on it. You can’t say fairer than that can you, I mean think about all the insurance you pay out and how many times have you actually got anything for it?
  14. Dry mate, crushed and stamped into the carpet……….and then remove the hoover from the premises.
  15. Ha ha I can’t believe I shared that. No cornflakes yet but I haven’t checked the labels on the tins in the cupboard yet!
  16. Oh yes she likes wine Pedro and so do I but it may be a bit late for that
  17. Absolutely Pete, I completely understand why they would do it. What seems to evade me is why my missus would kick off over it. Honestly, I give up.
  18. Yep, I’ve got no issues with the technicalities of what they’ve suggested, the parts were ordered late today once the mechanic had been through the car as part of the service. They just could guarantee they’d be here in time to do it today as it was late afternoon when he’d finished the service and passed the details to the admin guy. I guess they just didn’t want to leave us without a car when it was perfectly fine to drive.
  19. Bear with me on this because I want to get your take on matters, particularly the ladies on here as I may be missing something. So I drop the car into the garage today for a service. Throw the bike into the back so I can go exploring whilst it’s being done. The garage asks everyone to drop their cars off at 0900 and they will ring you when it’s done. Sometimes it’s before midday if yours has been done early or sometime it’s later if they started it in the afternoon. No problem either way. Ours was ready at 1730 and whilst doing the service they noticed that there was a small fuel leak on one of the fuel pipes, the front pads needed changing soon and the brake fluid has seen better days. They order the parts but can’t get them by end of play today; it make take a day or so. Again, no problem. I collect the car and they will ring me when they’ve got the parts, it could be another day or so, I’ll drop it down and they’ll sort it. No problem in my mind. I get home and tell the missus and she kicks off saying if they’ve done the service they should have ordered the parts (which they have and I told her that) and they should have kept the car until they got the parts and did the rest of the job. My view is that the car is fine to drive as it is so why would I leave it there for a few days? She can’t seem to get my point and now it seems to be all my fault. Regards Confused of Mazarron
  20. I’m pretty much game for most things but drinking and driving ain’t one of them. Won’t even have one beer.
  21. Ha ha it’s actually alcohol free Pete as I’ve got to collect my car from the garage on the way home. Service day.
