I know what you mean Bob, on a personal level I’m all for making things easy for myself and that’s because I’m very aware of my ability limits and technical know-how. Im just impressed by people that do things differently, not always better but always different.

Just goes to prove you don’t t need the latest ‘official adventure bike’ to have an off road adventure. In fact, I’m more impressed by this sort of thing than watching an overweight, overpriced lump of plastic and metal, with aluminium luggage still attached and the rider stood on the pegs on a perfectly flat, hard packed gravel track. Let’s have more of this sort of nonsense……right, I’m off to find a cheap, inappropriate motorbike that I can thrash up and down the local tracks…….

I like it mate, the higher screen looks so much nicer. That looks a tad fresh…….I don’t do cold anymore
-
Cheers Bob, the screen on the one at the back looks a fair bit higher than mine

Right here, right now. The B’stard Bike from hell is back on the road and dirt. Best I don’t take it to meet up with @XTreme on Sunday.
-
There are no guarantees
-
We’ll don’t fucking piss on me this Sunday.

As a BMW rider you may need to take some advanced training before you’ll be allowed on a Kawasaki.
-
Just his presence was enough to set the warning codes flashing up…….oh and he broke my jacket zip just by looking at it.
-
………….please don’t break my motorbike this time @XTreme …….actually, I could always bring the DR600S as that’s far too hard to be worried.

Having got back from the UK at the start of the week I’ve been pretty busy with stuff around the house but I did manage a quick trip to Murcia city to buy a new helmet……..nice to be back in the bike again. As for this weekend, who knows? Maybe a short spin out on Sunday……..need to hatch a plan Pete to meet up for a ride out and coffee etc…….no fucking abandoned villages this time.

A mate of mine bought a cheap-ish Chinese phone (Blackview I think?) which is billed as a rugged phone. He uses it on his motorbike and e-mountain bike because the battery is so much longer lasting than his iPhone and, with the quad lock damper device, he’s not had any problems with vibration damage.
-
Me neither and I’ve had two of them.
-
This weekend I’m still in the UK so I’ll mainly be drinking beer, eating takeaways and talking bollocks with my mates. Oh, and watching England beat Wales in the Six Nations………..whotcha gotta say about that then Taffy @XTreme?
-
Could’ve been worse……..Bonjour Monsieur.
-
Sorry to hear you’re having a bad day Pedro, keep yourself busy and time will pass more quickly. It’s better to focus on the mundane stuff than the things that make you feel sad. Keep your chin up and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
-
That all depends……..

Oh he’s got rolls and rolls of the stuff, same with the kitchen rolls, as I found out when I put the shopping away for him. I could’ve screamed but held it in and cleaned his kitchen bin out after he used it without a bin bag……….I’m not squeamish but I had a little retch to myself.

Exact-fucking-ly………my missus is fuming! The cost of the flights, car hire and hotel (couldn’t kip at mates place like normal) has cost nearly 900 euros. I won’t be doing it again.
-
Not quite…….spent all day running around like a headless chicken for my old man. Spent an hour and a half in the supermarket for him decide he needed 8 toilet rolls, 4 kitchen rolls, a bottle of red wine (had to be from California ), two pairs of rubber gloves, a bottle of bleach and 2 things you hang on the rim of the toilet to stop it stinking………oh and a packet of chocolate digestives. No wonder I need a few beers.

………..and that’s why you and me fit right in Pete. I honestly don’t give a fuck about most things and it keeps me sane.

In the UK sorting out admin for my dad. It’s cold, grey and definitely miserable………and that’s not only the weather. On the plus side the pub breakfast was the bollocks!
