Same here Pete but mainly in the very hot weather when some of the tarmac is super slippery. Usually deployed on roundabouts.

Used to live there Bob so spent many happy hours watching………never had the skill or guts to attempt it!

This just about sums up my feelings; The Amazon River runs for thousands of miles. At some points it runs through areas of rain forest that are almost untouched and have been barely explored. Because of the porous limestone in these areas, the river water leaks in through the stone and travels deep into the earth, and forms underground pools almost a mile below the surface. Over thousands of years, small blind transparent fish have lived and evolved in these pools. These fish have never seen the sun or surface and have never been seen by the human eye. These fish care more about this than I do.

Ha ha ha 2,500 klms……..such a long way. Some of the stages in the Dakar start with a 200 klm liaison stage from the previous bivouac followed by 400-500 klms off road to the finish and then another couple of hundred klms to the next bivouac………

………..so much for “Chinese shit bikes” eh? The Kove Rally Team entered three bikes and all three finished the toughest race in the world with their highest placed rider making it to 46th place. Not bad for a first attempt………who’s next?……Royal Enfield?

Same in London Bob, our nearest play area was a derelict factory site that used to make light bulbs. We used to break in, steal loads of light bulbs and play war games, throwing them at each other as they exploded on impact. Mental when I think about it.

Well my missus was very poorly for about three weeks and we did a Covid test to make sure and it was negative. She never, ever complains about colds etc and honestly has the highest pain threshold (clearly as she’s been with me 19 years). Shes only just started to feel better after about four and a bit weeks. I had a bit of cold but mine was much worse than hers.
