I absolutely get what you’re saying mate. His type are just gutless when it comes to it.
-
I like your style. Mind you, couldn’t you compromise with yourself and just punch him relatively hard a couple of times? Sometimes you just need to be flexible.
-
Eh? Snickers? When did that happen?
-
It’s been longer than a fucking month
-
Like I can be bothered
-
Ah fuck me I only posted it up because I’m bored……………however, for clarity @XTreme NO ITS NOT FROM THIS MONTH
-
Don’t be daft……..I’m cursed with bikes at the moment
-
A slight lag you say?
-
Hang on, I’ll give the dealers a call and see if they can take a photo for me…………or you can have this one of the DR?
-
Blatant snobbery @XTreme
-
Good old Cheddar eh? I lived in Weston super Mare for a few years so it was always a favourite run for me.

That z650rs looks the business in the flesh.

Having had two Himalayans and not having a single problem with either of them I’d say they’re a great bike. You can potter along, wring it’s neck, take it off road or stick to the twisty tarmac. However, you need to be comfortable with low power and plenty of character. Some owners are unlucky and experience quirks which get in their nerves and they end up selling them. I don’t know where you’re based in the UK @GentlyBentley but if you’re anywhere near Northampton then a good mate of mine is the RE dealer (CooperB Motorcycles) then you should go and have a chat with him and test ride one of his bikes. He’s got a great reputation in the business and an altogether decent bloke……….tell him Ray Skipp sent you

That’s why I removed mine
-
I don’t think it did look like that, no ground clearance, an exhaust underneath, and a fairly short wheelbase. On the other hand, I’ve seen one fitted with 17 inch dual purpose tires that was used to ride the Dalton highway up to Alaska.

They’re supposed to be a bike. Decent engine, comfy, cheap to run and above all different.

Almost ten years ago now, blasting along the Gorges du Tarn on the old 650…….bloody good bike that, handled better than I imagined even when loaded with camping gear Sounded great too with an aftermarket IXIL pipe with the baffles removed…….bbrrrrraappp!

Will do mate………..and I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.

No mate, no spark whatsoever despite fitting new plugs, coil and HT leads, new cdi and checked the stator is working. Going to get an electrical expert to check the whole wiring loom thoroughly. I’m wondering if the thirty odd year old loom is earthing out somewhere. I’m clutching at straws now.
-
Clearly, I won’t be out on either of my bikes. Instead I’ll be moaning and generally mooching about with my bottom lip dragging on the floor. I did consider getting a two wheel fix on the mountain bike but it’s far too hot.

We’ll apart from this incident it’s been great and they did apologise but I’m a grumpy fucker at the moment so it was an ideal opportunity to vent my frustration. It must be my manopause.

No I fucking haven’t. The twats have had it for over three weeks and they only removed the tank yesterday. It’s off for repair today and they reckon it COULD be ready next week. Yeah right.
