  1. No mate, the safety was because of the fucking awful colour, no twat is going to miss that.
  2. They are a bit of a Marmite bike, fingers crossed for a speedy return to work mate
  3. Good luck in selling that then mate In all fairness, it rode quite nicely but always felt like it’s days were numbered and those little irritating things that some people say is ‘character’ just pissed me off
  4. My Ducati Multistrada was a pile of shite too, not in the same league as the first monstrosity but nevertheless a real dogs diner. Uncomfortable, useless side stand and mirrors, completely inaccurate fuel gauge and always felt like it was going to go ‘pop’ when I worked it hard. Bought it, went to the Le Mans 24 Hour race and sold it a weeJ later. Again, no excuse.
  5. I honestly have no excuse. It was a blip. An expensive blip as well, only had it a couple of weeks and the fucking clutch needed replacing and the electrics were a law unto themselves.
  6. I had the GT250 when I was 17 years old, fucking loved it, proper fanny magnet
  7. I’ve been browsing through some old photos of previously owned bikes and there have been a few horrors such as an early Ducati Multistrada but by far and away the most hideous thing I’ve EVER bought was this piece of shit, a Suzuki 1800 Intruder thing. What the fuck I was thinking of? Frighteningly rapid in a straight line with enough torque to tow a Jumbo jet but had the turning circle of a tanker. Anyway, don’t be shy, confession time and if you’ve got photos then even better
  8. 525x110 I believe but I can check for sure in a moment
  9. Fer fucks sake don’t tell him or he’ll be giving you directions to some abandoned building.
  10. No class, that’s your trouble Pete. Just as a reference, here’s what a proper Himalayan should look like.
  11. Can’t believe she ain’t got handguards on that Himalayan. Fucking sacrilege
  12. I guess for me I’ve never been in a position to buy a car that would have excited me……..the nearest I got was a Triumph TR7 when I was 20 years old and much later an early Audi TT so that says it all really. Not much of a four wheeled pedigree!
  13. See, I was right. Bikes are about ‘want’ rather than ‘need’. I need a car but I don’t really want one.
  14. Blimey, someone’s been gossiping. Always partial to a takeaway Pete. Dunno, I do like a curry and of course there’s always an Italian…..
  15. I’ve had a huge number of big capacity, powerful bikes over the years including GSXR’s, Blades, Zx’s, R1’s and of course, a couple of Hayabusas. I can honestly say I’ve been a passenger on all of them as my skills and abilities are far outweighed by those of the bikes. Moving on and having recently picked up a cosmetically challenged, 23 year old CBR600F3 with only a 100bhp (on a good day) I cannot understand why 99% of us would ever need anymore. It’s still far faster than me and handles more than well enough for public roads. The problem is that bikes sell based on what we want rather than what we need. Mind you, that’s half the fun right?
  16. Keep me posted mate and I’ll tag along.
  17. What the fuck have you got on your feet?
