It was just over 38 here on Sunday which was bad enough but when the dogs went out for a final run around the garden at 2315 it was still 34!……….aircon went on in the bedroom all night mate.

It’s way to hot to be riding at all to be honest and I have all good intentions of not going out but then I give in and go anyway. When I get home I’m sweating like a pig and swear I’ll never do it again. That is, until the next time.

Yes mate, still bashing around the trails with complete disregard

Of course, I’ve seen him get very excited when I start it up at 0630

Ha ha sorry for the very delayed reply but the reason for buying it was my ‘inner-stupid’ surfaced again……..and it was dirt cheap. Handles well and goes like stink when it hits 7-8k rpm……..and the howl from the Arrow can is addictive

It’s been a while since I last posted and Pete was so worried he checked to see if I was still alive. He was disappointed to find I was. Anyway, managed to get the old Suzuki TL1000S back to the UK and sold with the help of a good mate.......so naturally I needed to replace it with something to thrash around on. I give you the venerable CBR600F3, steel frame and carbs with an offensively loud Arrow can. Just the job!
  8. Well I would have gone out on Sunday for a blast but I’ve agreed to play golf on Saturday with some mates. There, I’ve come out of the closet.
  9. It was 29 Celsius in the shade here today so out on the open trails who knows how hot it was? Found a small water crossing just after this photo which was rather nice. to be honest, it was a shortcut to the bar.
  10. Couldn’t have put it better myself and the ABS on the Himalayan is pretty crude and I’ve had a couple of times where the bloody thing wouldn’t slow down enough on very loose terrain. The best option I’ve had was in the KTM 690 Enduro whereby the aftermarket switch could turn off the rear ABS but leave the front active.
  11. It’s the only photo I’ve taken of the poor old thing this month so apologies for the lack of artistic flair and lack of effort on my part ?? Mind you, there is a very cute wild boar on the rocks behind.
  12. Wife’s makeup and false teeth ??
  13. Yep........a mate’s fancy dress birthday party a few years back. ?????
  14. I do now regret having the gender realignment because I used to be a hot chick myself ?
  15. ...... I feel like I’ve disappointed a dear old relative now ????
  16. I can provide a translation if required. ?
  17. A couple of shots from a ride out on Sunday with some of the other old farts from around here. Terrible I know but I couldn’t be arsed with a ride report. Must make more of an effort next time. ?
  18. I’ve no idea what all the previous forums were like that you all talk about. All I know is that this forum is like a breath of fresh air compared to most of the other over-sanitised forums. I mean, where else can you refer to someone as a cnut and get a round of applause? Keep up the good work Pete........................... ........... you cnut ?
  19. Ha ha it’s amazing what you can do with editing software. This is me in reality ?
  20. We stay clear of the wet stuff until Sunday so I’m off out tomorrow with a couple of old boys. One is on an ancient Kawasaki custom bike and the other is running in his spanking new Triumph Trident........so my Himalayan may just be the fastest of the three? ??
