A gentle spin out with a couple of mates on their scooters and we even took in some dirt tracks to get to the beach. Fair play to them as it was quite bumpy in places. I forgot my baseball cap hence the daft headwear. Can’t burn my head can I?

Did all the boring admin shit today so Sunday is bike day for me. I’m dragging the bastard bike from hell out and the plan is to ride the TL1000S to Calasparra via Lorca and Caravaca. There will be a few of us so I’m sure it’ll be lively!! Yeeeeeehar!???

Just me and a mate on his scooter out and about. Found our way to the beach for coffee and then up to some old mines to arse about in the gravel. That scooter is far better than you’d imagine! ?

A spin out on the evil thing today having had a suspension masterclass from a mate. Can’t believe how much better it feels.......well, I’ve learned something new today and at my age that’s impressive ??

It was awful. It looked like hard, crusty dirt as I rode into it at a good pace and within a metre or so I came to a dead stop and nearly went over the handlebars ??? I clambered off the bike and got stuck as the clay went up to my knees. Managed to get out and got a local in his tractor to dig me out. Very embarrassing ??

So folks, if anyone fancies a trip out on the local trails in south east Spain once this pandemic shite is over with then maybe give Crixus Motorsport a shout. Proper good blokes with a wealth of knowledge and they can tailor their trips to whatever you need. Nothing in it for me, just helping out a couples of good mates.

Pete, is it permitted to post up details of a trail riding outfit local to me? I help out from time to time as a favour but there is absolutely nothing in it for me other than having a day out.

Not if I get it done before the end of this year which hopefully I will. However, I will have to still pay registration tax and that is included in the 600.

Well the TL is coming along now with the help of a couple of very good mates. Thread repair done, standard pipes prepped and painted and ready to install. Suspension set up correctly by someone who knows what they’re doing (clearly not me ?) and front brake refurbished. I’m just waiting for a few odds and sods and it’ll be off to the ITV station to start the matriculation process.
