  1. It's the dragon, not the flag. There's also a Isle of Man one, one from a garage in Morocco, and the flag for the Berber nation. Should maybe get a Portuguese flag in there so there's no confusion ...
  2. Guess I'll go with the more close up picture, more bike and less scenery in there:
  3. Flask of coffee or tea from home, ride out to get the scooter engine warm, stop by somewhere and have a coffee and take a BOTM picture, then ride back home. 10 or 20km each way, it's a change of pace and brightens up your day.
  4. Maybe you would get a top box in the mail
  5. If he were to do that we would then have to pay ransom for it, and risk getting it.
  6. The 29th, after lunch. After my lunch Unless I'm on the bike, if that's so then it's evening.
  7. I'm counting on a good photo from @MooN and @Specs and @Buckster and @Sir Fallsalot! @XTreme, do you think your new phone's pictures are too photoshoped to enter this now?
  8. RC8s are such a cool unique looking sports bike. I love that when you see a clean one it looks like it could have been released this year.

    I ran away

Not disputing that, I've been in a car a few times a little all over the place. Might do next year, though
  10. Aren’t X motocross engines? I would have thought them to not be very friendly for slow trail riding without overheating.
  11. What kind of WR250 is it, bob, R or F?

Never feel like taking a motorcycle to France except when I see your reports. Lovely looking road through the trees.
  13. Took you long enough. Thank you Bob, that's why you're a moderator.
  14. This is going to be a good one, and there’s still a week to go
  15. I'll start, stopped by one of my favourite locations by a lighthouse in the North/Center of Portugal. Took two pictures, one shows the bike better but the other shows a lot more of the scenery and sky. Had to climb an embankment to take it too!
  16. It's still early, but people have been posting so many ride reports this month () that I figure everyone will have a lot of pictures to choose from. Post them here and keep posting more if you take a better one, I'll just consider the last picture each person posts for the final vote. Post as many as you want. I'll go through this and close this on the 29th and set the poll then. As always, please only submit pictures in horizontal format, of your own bike and taken this month.
  17. Haven't even seen one in person. Then it'll be at least by mid next year they'll release the big tank version. I'll go for a test ride when they're out, but all I know about BMWs tells me to not buy a new model bike in the first couple of years.
  18. 12kg. Not that much. I like it that it’s a no frills review and it’s not about numbers.

    Comforting

I don’t get the thought behind getting your seat out, and leaving your phone there to charge while riding only to have to go get it when you stop. Other brands do it, makes no sense in real life.
  20. I like what he has to say about it.
  21. The last picture with the boats is really nice. So, first thing you do with a new bike is park it one meter away from the sea?
  22. Lot of stuff being posted, so I just took care of it.
  23. I was watching on the news yesterday that the severe rain storms affecting Portugal are heading your way Pete, if they are it's proper amounts of water. If it'll continue like now, I'll just hang around the house. If it clears up I might take the bike for a little ride around since I'm north, visit a couple of roads I used to do on the Transalp, but this time not getting stuck on the mountains.
