There's always a point to a poll!

Its too warm for a proper biker's black leather jacket, which has been established as the proper motorcyclist thing to wear. But better to not wait too long, or else winter starts and the rain is not good either, there´s 3 days of usable weather betwen the jacket weather and only long enough for setting the points on the bike, if the good season happens during weekdays he's screwed.

Yes, the coil!

I love it when people say shit like that. Still doesn't mean shit to me, but it feels like you're Gandalf talking magic that you simply know from ages of experience.

It's like he just doesn't care!

You hope to get money for it over there or kick it to a ditch and fly back?

If you need dates you better stay clear of where Pete lives.

Cool bike! They’re very popular, as a brand, in northern Portugal.

These days? there’s a serow picture? In the wild?

He’s better after breaking his leg, only drove him today because yesterday he curbed a wheel in his car and it had to urgently be fixed as he couldn’t live with it. He’s not acting less like a twat since getting sick, which I suppose is a good thing?

Drove my dad to Porto today, and walked around for an hour while he was in for a doctor's appointment

Degrees of enthusiasm vary, I would say not really worth it but then again we were there on the weekend with production stopped. Also showed up with no booking but they squeezed us in. Also I found the guy annoyingly over enthusiastic about being "addicted to motorcycles", he was playing his part though.

I was calling clients today while this was on: This guy might be very tall and big, and his T7's suspension is like a motocross bike, but that is a proper workout. The man's a beast.

By far the only option that makes any sense, take your time through the Picos, see the country, that's a proper trip. Edit: maybe not leave home with a gps map of the whole way and instead follow your nose, and head back north via Portugal if you want to make it great...

You could not do it, if you want to be a square.

Oh, yes, @XTreme Please change the picture but leave the thread open
-
And the vote is closed, but the thread remains open because that's how I rule, anarchy! Congratulations @Sofia

If you want a low seat comfy tourer you want a lowered GS. Handling is slower than a tall one, but as a bike to carry luggage over all sorts of roads nothing beats it. Buy a good looking late 2015 / 2016 one, it’ll be ok.

He’s trying to avoid meeting you, I fear!

Yes, you’re both very special.

So, any Honda then Crosstourers are nice, but very heavy.
-
I struggle to imagine that the same person would be comfortable on both a CB500F and an Africa Twin, more so if it’s the taller ones from a few years ago.
-
I would, but if your CB500 is perfect for your roads an Africa Twin will feel large and top heavy in comparison. What would you gain from one?
