Cut off is the scary part in the new age But surely by 20 most girls are still OEM?

Wouldn’t know, I think …

No, I bought one without the cord because I thought I wouldn't forget. It's maybe 20 years old, used twice. I forgot one of the times, so it's 50% fail.

They’re 20, they would come back. With cookies, or chocolates

Only time I dropped a bike not offroad was riding a hotel in Casablanca. I carried the bloody thing for the entire trip but parking it in front of the hotel for one of the last nights I decided to put it to use. In the morning I forgot about it and as I was riding off there was a thunk! And down I went. I remember being very confused while going down and thinking “I didn’t notice a sidewalk” Since then I don’t bother with it, I do bother with safe places to park though.

To be honest I’m a bit anxious about this UK trip, it’s all horror stories on youtube. However, we’ll try to sleep in ok areas and search for places with parking. Also the point is to go through scenic places instead of lingering on slums. My bike has an alarm, plus one tries not to live in fear. Porto once had an armed carjacking crisis and that didn’t stop me driving around, just keep a little space to the car in front on stoplights

Washed my bike today, including the luggage, tomorrow will wipe a cloth with motul shiny stuff on it and hope it’s done until the uk bimble in September. Also washed the inner things of my helmet, trying to make it smell human again, and less of dust and sweat. I feel the time for a new lid is approaching.

They’d start coming around a lot more often!

It’s 2023, a new world!

I’ve got a client who races extreme enduro on a modern 250 husqvarna 2 stroke, he was looking forward to trading it with a 300. Says the extra low down grunt makes everything a lot easier at the expense of nothing. On something like an x trainer it must be even more so.

Funny thing, when someone here in Portugal thinks of smashing a hooker it means something else altogether.

I think they have a good idea for a first season on most of those shows, it ends on a high and suddenly they scramble some shit together when they’re surprised by a longer contract

Yes. I’ve had a few sets of the original ones and really like them as a smooth road tire, this is the rocks version which looks less gay and will probably be better too except maybe last less.

I was up and walking Costa at 7:45, he is not to blame for my bad habits It’s your choice to get hungover, that’s how real men do it!
-
The mitas are gone, replaced with these which are never going to last as long but will be better for light touring on possibly wet tarmac

Don’t know, but on the way north we’ll sleep twice more or less close to Santander to go ride around the Picos for a day, and Bilbao is a town I really dig. Maybe something to do with boarding on different places in the uk too. I don’t really know why any of it is actually happening, I’ll basically be tagging along with @Sofia as she revisits some of her favourite places while also trying to keep to the appropriate side of the road.

Bike’s been serviced and ready for a big ride now. Got properly wet riding back home in my jeans and summer jacket, though. Then dinner at friends’ house, culminating in rum and cigars until now. Merry Christmas!

The topbox!

Alone might the factor to avoid in the future? Or adjust the level of thing you’re willing to try and get yourself through.
-
The cod and chips I will surely get more than once. Tried it before and am a fan!
-
Ok, @Sofia, he’ll do something by himself, pants!
-
Santander going up, Bilbao coming back.

Weirdness yes, rudeness no. But Lionel’s posts have that feeling of “I’ve got 5 daily minutes online and better make them count!
