Gave the GS a little love in form of few new plastic parts, the supports for the luggage were quite worn down, plus a couple of cable holders and the two little rubber stops on which the seat rests. Looking prettier now, wondering if they will look like shit after the first few kms of dirtroad, maybe

Love the red head’s voice!

It’s certainly not photogenic, but it’s ok in person

Saw one a couple of days ago riding around my town. It’s not gorgeous but it’s not as bad as on the pictures here. Looks like what it is…

This is very interesting. What happened the next day?

Your cousin looks like he drives a truck for a colombian cartel. Hope he hunts for food, does he eat bear?

No electrical switches to turn off power in your place? That sounds scary, a little more and that machine could have broken free and killed people.

Will you be roaring too?

Tell you what @MooN, for a ride report with not that many pictures, you did post the right ones to get a response

You wouldn’t know a holiday if it hit you in the face!

You think that where you live? You’re trying for more drama! I think this is all a ploy by Pete to try and get out of going out to dinner a couple of times with real people. You’ll go all the way to Spain to hang out in a deserted village for an hour and off you go

Really, a section at the bottom of the forum for this shit. Or a specific thread, call it “stuff to ignore”.

I am not one for big meals at lunch if on a trip, but do enjoy something nice to eat. For mediterranean (including most of France) people, sitting at a table and sharing food and wine is the ideal way to socialize, that changes when you go north. The lack of those dinners is a culture shock for the southern people when travelling and getting to know foreign friends. Then we mistake this lack of comfort meals and breaking bread with being cold and unfriendly.

Oh it’s most certainly a fact that I want wine at the end of a day on the bike. However, in Portugal having wine doesn’t make a meal any more “posh” per se, it’s the culture as I think also is in France, Spain, Italy…

Love the sound, but I do think you’ll get tired of it on long trips.

That made me smile Good stuff, too. Nothing like a properly "watered" nice meal at the end of a riding day, although you guys seem like you do serious lunches too.

That’s a pretty gas station, looks like a great day to ride a motorcycle.

Hey @Sir Fallsalot, a guy with an old Vespa told me today about this oil: https://www.ipone.com/en/eshop/product/samourai-racing-strawberry It's Ipone 2 stroke oil with a strawberry scent! The guy told me he went on a ride with a few people and since he was by far the slowest bike he went ahead, when they stopped for coffee everyone was wondering how it could smell so much like strawberries when they were riding through vineyards Maybe it's a nice solution so that people don't get upset with two stroke dirt bikes riding through the lanes. On other scents, I used a Motul cleaning product today to clean a few smudges off my paint that left a clear orange scent
