  1. Looks really fast on pictures, and the Coretech The Bender jacket has a lovely politically incorrect name to it
  2. I like the "hooray henry" thing, don't really know what it is but feels right. When they stop behind someone and all of them look around wondering what's happening reminds me of a Portuguese saying that means "doesn't fuck nor does he let anyone else fuck either" I dislike that way to see a country. If you want to go racing then go racing, if you want to go trail riding or traveling then respect the place and don't do it amongst 120 other bikes. They were stopped on a village, right next to a local restaurant while he was showing his tuna can and had just eaten a candy bar, seems to me the cafe guy looking at them shares my opinion This was the mountain pass they did at the end, except done with class: Very cool looking bikes, though. I wonder if I can press that mechanic button to have that guy come over and get my XR running
  3. I am curious as to a proper look at a Mandello, looks like a really cool bike. Ewan McGregor is a very cool dude, but he does a lot of contemplating just sitting around looking depressed in this video, I properly laughed at the opening scene just sitting in the middle of a room https://www.motoguzzi.com/pt_PT/models/v100/
  4. Big bag on the passenger seat on top of all that closed luggage space, have you considered a trailer?
  5. I leave the helmet on the seat a lot of the times, but now not when there are monkey around!
  6. Yes, I do! Fell right on a rock and knocked one of the pinlock pins off, I don't use pinlock so now I've got a square of duct tape to close that.
  7. The Goldwing looks like a fine bike for a trip like that.
  8. I keep mine until I feel like changing them, they get a hard life from the summer sweat and dust. Also it seems like I can't help but drop them, the last one was bounced down a cobblestone street (my head not inside, thankfully), the current one knocked off my bike by a monkey...
  9. Is there going to be a season 2, @XTreme ?
  10. You did make a pretty bright seat cover, though.
  11. Yes, Mauritania with any engine management fault is probably a real adventure. Good to know you made it home. Curious as to what is wrong with it.
  12. That's nothing .... Here it's quite windy
  13. Portugal's very much a Honda country, today I've encountered: 2 Honda Africa Twins 1 Honda NTV650 1 Honda CBF600 1 Honda adventure scooter 1 Honda NC750 1 Yamaha Super Tenere 750 1 Harley Davidson 1 Kawasaki cruiser 1 BMW R1200GS, not mine
  14. Still at my place, was planning to go north a couple of days ago but somehow couldn’t drag myself away. Just came up to the hills for lunch at the usual spot, the ride here was just perfect, 30 or 40 minutes of perfect not slow not fast pace, with a dirtroad shortcut with a rocky uphill section, then the hill and onto the cafe. No pictures because I enjoyed not putting a foot down the whole way.
  15. What error was that? Spec's bike is an older water-cooled version like mine isn't it? They've got a couple of known mechanical flaws according to manufacturing date, but are pretty reliable overall.
  16. Let him make new friends!
  17. Don’t have Facebook, where is he? I’ve got someone in Porto…
  18. Just watched the first season of The Diplomat on Netflix, and really liked it. Ended on proper drama too, really pissed me off to go from that to knowing they don’t have a date for the second season yet, twats!
  19. No need to make excuses dude, live your truth!

    Pedro's food

Yesterday’s dinner, or tea … carrot oven baked chips, steak (local cut, too thin but tasty meat) with egg on horseback, and Moroccan salad wanted potatoes but had none at home, had a couple of carrots, it was a delicious surprise.
