  1. So, update on the mighty GS. Clutch rattle. Following clutch rattle and no clutch issue being obvious, an updated gearbox bearing kit was ordered, taking apart the gearbox to get it ready for the bearing kit, a flaw was noticed on one of the sprockets on the gearbox's output shaft. Taken apart, and no replacement found in the neighboring dealerships amongst loose parts, a replacement was ordered. Since then, we took the change to inspect timing chains and tensioners, to be replaced, and since were at it the cylinder heads came off to do it. Since they're off to do it, let's take them apart and decarbonize the heads (don't know how to say it in english apart from clean them up), turning valves and make it extra nice with a little polish here and there. We're now on a little bit of a creeper mission, BMW has made it longer with nothing ever being in stock. Everything was supposed to be ready for assembly today, but my guy took a little longer on one head than was expected as the exhaust valves were needing extra work, I suppose a lot of Moroccan fuel might have something to do with it. I'm counting on a little bit faster and stronger engine after all is done, ready to go into the 200.000kms with confidence. Watch this space. I would have paid my bike a few visits over the last few weeks, but with Costa the puppy being so sick he has (and always will) taken priority. He's doing better than two days ago, jumped out of human beds yesterday night after farting on them mid sleep, today peed against things holding a rear leg up, and barked at the scent of an enemy dog he didn't see but smelt, all progress!
  2. Maybe you should check my comments there, are you even an admin? Yes, I've got a bike, come and chase it a week or two from now
  3. If it's not weeping from the output shaft after a few kms, a Transalp is as bulleproof as it gets, along with your CBF you'd own the team to be the cockroach of motorcyclists if there ever is a nuclear doomsday. I like your choice of bikes that peak your interest. There's no GS, but nobody is perfect.
  4. OK, so there's a ride report, nice. Two wheeled therapy
  5. You're taking the chance that the wife is in the hospital to have a snooze? WTF? You're deaf, what does it matter if she's in or not to sleep on a normal day? Have a wank or go out on the scooter, or just play loud music to annoy the neighbours.
  6. Ride report? Didn't happen.

    Hi all

Welcome! Now that's an introduction! I'm Portuguese, and I've been to Morocco a few times. If you feel like you're in need of guidance to settle on a route feel free to ask, although my advice is to play it by ear. Christmas in Portugal is usually a nice time to be on a motorcycle as if it's cold and dry it's beautiful and not so cold, but January in Morocco you´ll maybe face proper weather and proper cold if you go through mountains, it'll also get chilly in the desert. I aprove on your choice of motorcycle!
  8. @Six30, think, if only you would have submitted a picture of the blue dildo on a parking lot, maybe you would have beaten the Vespa! or maybe not
  9. Congratulations @boboneleg! It’s getting quite annoying how you’re winning with different bikes this year!
  10. Get hammered, uber home! This is the way!
  11. You were the one posting shit comments yesterday on the proper thread instead of submitting your blue dildo in a parking lot. Never mind actually buying it instead of the Speed Triple! Where you scared? Or just liked the colour? talk about blinding drunk! It’s wine, not tequilla.
  12. You’re joking about my name, and yours being Marcel?
  13. Yes! it’s safely tucked away in his basement! It’s in his basement because it’s not still in it’s plastic protection blue plastic!
  14. What are you talking about? You didn’t submit it.
  15. Below you've got our four entries for Bike Of The Month October. I think this is a great month, as we might have more voters than submissions You can cast one vote, the poll will close automatically tomorrow at 21:00. @boboneleg's Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport, showing how it´s done on a scooter: @JustaPor's Honda CB500F, styling out on a leisurely cafe ride @Marcel le Moose Fondler's Indian Challenger Limited, unlimited by surfaces @Saul's Honda CBF600, bimbling about in great British weather
  16. Yes, me too. He’s a strong boy but getting old now, and the punishment he took this time wasn’t easy.
  17. Me and my brother took Costa out to near where Sofia lives for surgery. It turned out to be a complete shit show, surgeon wasn't able to do what he promised to do, so the liver was not treated in the slightest. Then he was released too soon, and has had either a bad reaction from the anesthesia or developed an aneurism or has had a little brain damage, we had to go back in and leave him during the night. During the night he was administered more painkillers, against our orders and for no known reason to the surgeon or clinical chief, and spent the day after recovering from that. Now back home and slowly gaining his ability to walk again, but obviously feeling very very poorly. I basically put the poor creature through 2 days of hell with absolutely nothing gained and a lot lost and I feel complete shit for it.
  18. Nice fuel consumption, I bet it was nice out there today.
  19. Sorry guys, bicycles don't work as the motorcycle for the front page picture.
  20. Days got away from me over the last week, but I was reminded by @Marcel le Moose Fondler about Bike Of The Month, sorry for the delay. Submit your pictures until tomorrow at 22:00. By then I will start a poll that will end on the 01st November at 21:00. Same rules as always, I will consider the last picture you submit, your bike on a ride during October, and we need a horizontal picture.
  21. Quite the stance with those wheels and ride height! Is it as inadequate off tarmac as it looks?
  22. Beautiful day to go out, nicely done!
