  1. My vote went for Bob, and seems like I was right in nominating him.
  2. Good stuff, Bob. are those plains the Sainsbury Plains? I know nothing of the UK but that name I read often on forums. Eating sandwiches on a barn cover sittingon hay bales sounds very Christmassy, might as well have a donkey and a cow for warmth too.
  3. You can sense the Christmas spirit in that sentence!
  4. I bought those spices from a group of ladies that all went for a ride around town on the GS, you wouldn’t know anything about that.

Oven roasted codfish and potatoes. The onions and caramelized garlic, and the good olive oil make the dish. It's a portuguese thing, I love it.
  6. The RS! Did you have a closer look and a sit? What did you think?
  7. Have a look and a seat on an RS, seems half the size in real life
  8. If I was to choose a value bike out of the used but current BMW bikes, I would look into a late R1200RS. They lose value quicker than a GS, I suppose have taller higher gear like an RT, and are proper comfy to sit on. I never rode one as I really value the GS and the 19 inch front wheel, but a RS is a bike to consider. Cheaper than the GS purely out of market reasons.
  9. With the Enfield, getting two out of one isn’t bad then.
  10. Did you need to tie them down, or were they producing downforce even standing still?
  11. It’s a Honda. You need it to look horrible to go out into the wild!
  12. Can’t help but think Royal Enfield or Triumph would have ended up with something looking a lot more like this plus a radiator one of the prettiest Hondas ever
  13. If travelling proper big distances on tarmac only and not using the bike for commuting everyday, I would look into an RT. The fairing and longer gearbox …
  14. If you can aford one, go for a ride on a GS, post 2015, and see how you like it. Then ride a Strom 650 and see if that’s also a fit for travelling. I think a Strom 650 would be my choice for a cheaper bike compared to mine, the modern ones appeal to me.
  15. If you end up trading, kindly ask for an address so I can send them my commissions invoice.
  16. This is currently my favourite song to have pop up on my helmet while on the bike. On the very rare occasions I turned the music on in Morocco to fight a little tiredness this music started as I was stopping for a drink of water, and couldn’t help but do a little jig around the bike. Wasn’t aware I was being watched by a kid laughing so hard he almost fell of his donkey

It was, she used a mix of spices I brought from Morocco. It was delicious!
  18. Plus I’m not a drunk fighter, I’m a lover

    Mini Bimble

Legend! I wouldn’t make an effort to go out in that.
  20. Adventure, that’s the word you want. Otherwise it’s just silly.
  21. That never stopped anyone on here, it’s almost a requirement in fact
