I rode that bike. The grief he gave me over not starting it properly lasted decades! -

My two submissions: The big GS on a tiny road deep in the Douro region. And Pete, giving you the bird, on the "one of the best bikes ever made", complete with huge top box: -
Since we are now able to change the picture on the front page, we're restarting Bike Of The Month with a vote for all three months in which we had no competition. You can now submit one picture of your bike on a ride, taken anytime in May, June or July, in horizontal format. As an exception, I will also accept submissions of a second picture if you wish to honour Pete, and as such if you've got a picture of him you'd like to have on the front-page for a month, we can accept that as well. They will all go in the vote, I'll consider the last picture you submit of each genre. On the evening of the 29th, I'll close submissions and start the vote.

Here they’re coming back, prices of things rising so much means people that fix things with quality at reasonable prices get all the business they need.

What kind of end of the world place doesn't have a cobbler? A nice Vibram sole would make them feel better than new. I think you'll find those TCX a lot less sturdy than the ones you have. I love my current ones, made by Stylmartin: https://en.stylmartin.it/shoes-boots-moto/products/yu-rok-brown.html

308° firing interval? That’s better or worse than 270?

No. That was built in Portugal by Famel, under license from Zundapp. The leaks are what makes them last 50 years, self corrosion protection.
