  1. Considerate dog owner indeed
  2. Pretty sure they haven't got a life sentence or death for terrorism for a while now, since ETA pretty much stopped. But the article said he was going to face charges to pay for at least part of the operation. Don't know how much it costs to take an F18 up for an hour but it must be a pretty penny, and on top of all the airport and diverted planes, I'm sure they're not laughing anymore

Simple brown mushrooms, sautéed on rosemary and lots of garlic and olive oil, served with parsley. Summery fresh salad of cucumber and cherry tomatoes with mozzarella, love it Leftover white rice turned a lunch with some onions, tomatoes, parsley and Worcestershire (thank you spellcheck!) sauce to the rescue An amazing fusilli pesto, simple and delicious Courguette tagliatelle Lovely cherry tomato salad with nothing else except salt, oregano and olive oil, plus a great mix of canned horse mackerel fillets with raw onions, lemon zest, black pepper and parsley. Summertime lunch Portobello mushroom based vegetarian lasagna, ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan sauce instead of béchamel. Used a proper pasta for this and it turned out great, quite happy and worthy of the effort

Hope that tasted nice, but to me that looks like a too hot grill over a not warm enough fire, those chips looks lovely though

If by meat you mean protein, ok, but that's squid, each piece is a squid. Grilled over coal and then some garlic and olive oil.
  6. And also: engraving tombstones was hard work, everyone took three paragraphs!
  7. What a couple of cuties! Great pictures, great report, thanks!
  8. As a general rule, in Portugal and Spain a Motel is usually like that, a closed in-room garage away from prying eyes, and not really meant as an overnight stay by most guests. Some are nice though, and as a biker you'll do worse to find secure parking for the bike late at night. I'll just let it out that in Spain a Club isn't somewhere nice to stop for a sandwich By what he did with her, clearly he's not
  9. Picture above is of an F18 that accompanied an Easyjet plane down to land in Mallorca airport, happened on sunday. In a period where it's really hard to get on flights, a young 18 year old brit with 5 of his mates flying from Gatwick going to Menorca on holiday decided to post a bomb threat on a social network. It got taken seriously, the F18 was scrambled in case the plane had to be taken down, it was forced to land in Mallorca to be inspected by bomb disposal experts and everyone interrogated, a few flights headed to that airport had to be diverted, all in all a nice example of a prime twat going to Spain for a laugh. Hope he has to foot the bill for the whole thing.
  10. I'll find you one, easily, here, if you want an adventure.
  11. Now she is too late, alone in a spanish wasteland, no nice bike to ride in the back of, and the car is about to go away to the seaside too ...
  12. She's lovely, for your information. He probably tricked her.
  13. Basically you told the wife to fuck off and that she’s out of luck for the next bike
  14. Did that eat too much into the width necessary to carry two bikes easily?
  15. He would hop on one foot. How would you get home if you broke a leg?
  16. Back then I suppose they had some kind of reason to do it, trying to improve the way the ABS works or something like that. Brakes in cars are the same, they probably decided to use the same engineering. It wasn't easy to make good ABSs that didn't go bad with lack of activation. I suppose it had something to do with circulating the brake fluid inside the ABS to prevent it from seizing over time. It was proven unnecessarily heavy and then they removed it. A few of the 1150s and early 1200s have this, and I think they're not really wanted because of it.
  17. If it was that and they did replace it, it will be ok, same as the servo, but it obviously wasn't. Why no other BMW? Because you bought an old bike that sat around for ages and then a part that needs use to keep fresh needs replacing? You change your mind quicker than anyone, even a couple of days ago you both accepted that this bike would probably have to be replaced with something newer if that's what it took to get her out.
  18. On a less positive note, they probably didn't really replace the servo and more likely tried to fix it.
  19. On a more positive note, there's now a possibility of Allie wanting to again be on the back of your bike, @XTreme ... which is brilliant news.
  20. Not if it's a servo assisted, some older ones were and it's no longer like that for a reason Later versions of the same generation have a normal system, in which if the ABS fails all you have is a non ABS bike like you say.
  21. Not 270º, I can tell you that, that's for hipsters
  22. I think even Putin is about to issue a statement saying he's got nothing to do with Bernie. He makes Putin look bad.
