I don't get why all other countries have such a strong opinion on the US gun policy. Now Americans, I can see why they might have a strong opinion one way or the other, but why does every other country have people who have a strong opinion on what another country does regarding their internal gun control and criticize the US for it? Edit: Is that a leather shirt?

Woke up to a chilly morning, and went outside to weed out the garden/jungle/meadow, then after working out an apetite got on the bike and went to my favourite spot by the river where I enjoyed a great sandwich and absolutely perfect weather. Came back via the road that crosses all the farm fields, the road is caked in dry dirt. The dirt was dragged onto the road as mud when the trucks from picking up the tomatoes were working, then it rained, and then it got hot and dry, and the truck traffic pressed it. It's now a mix of tarmac and very hard compacted dirt. Fuelled up the bike and now am relaxing on the sofa with the windows open, might wash the bike tomorrow or this afternoon, but I'm feeling lazy now.

I’m sensitive to temperature, I’m afraid if you hand me a hot firearm I’ll just drop it …

This guy just did my head in, from 04:50 onwards, stepping on and off the bike with no stand ... All in a very french style

did you type that randomly with your eyes closed? Kawasaki names crack me up

My guess is that at 100hp the driveshaft would probably take too much performance out of it and make it too slow for journalists who are already going to say it would be better with 20hp more.

Someone will ask how much it weighs in a bit... I would have my R1200GSA, I would be tempted by a R1250GS, but having just one bike it would be mine.

Bad news, things apparently will heal less and less by themselves after you’re forty…

I like this, but think this needs a driveshaft, can't help but thinking Honda is doing a BMW and making a road touring bike out of the Africa Twin.

Are Big Capacity and/or High Powered Bikes Days Numbered?

As a side note, big capacity engines aren't ending, what might be ending is stock bikes with big specific horsepower numbers. -

I notice the difference in prices, obviously, at putting in 25 liters at a time it shows. My joke was that it it does have autonomy so I forget about the cost and just enjoy it. I bought my bike for touring with a passenger, for that I do think the torque of a big bike is ideal, and carrying loads it's not necessarily less economical than a smaller bike. If I was restricted to 1000 then I would get a 1000, I wouldn't cry over it nor would it be the end of the world, but I would rather have mine. In fact, If BMW made a boxer 1000cc I would go and ride one to see how it would be, as a solo rider now I think it would be really cool. -

I would appreciate cheaper gas prices for sure, but my 1200 uses less than 5 lt/100km, if I ride normally and stay out of motorways it's got enough of a fuel range that I forget about gas prices between fill ups It'll take a while for me to consider exceptionally low fuel consumption as something that draws me to a bike, however, high fuel consumption does make me turn away from one, that has always been the case. -
9/11, was at school finishing lunch, someone turned the cafeteria’s tv to see the news and saw the second plane hit the towers while people still thought the first one was accidental.

Mine's got the spoked wheels, smart ass!

Shit, @Sir Fallsalot, 11 hours on muddy trails? Did you loose a bet or join the foreign legion? I rode the GS around very local streets to dry it out after washing, took 20 minutes

My plan to wash the bike didn't go according to plan. I had a little more work in the afternoon and forgot I had ran out of bike washing liquid, so went to buy it, but of course riding the bike got hot and it feels not ok to wash a hot engine, will probably be left for tomorrow. Spent a big part of the day on the phone but feel like I've done nothing.

You gain nothing on going full at it on the weekend. I have learned to continue asking clients for questions, over and over if needed, simplifying requests until there is no chance of a misunderstanding.

That's really simple, then!
