Don’t let it go to your head, when I had the Transalp I read so much about the output shaft I was wiggling it every month, and almost murdered a mechanic when he said he was going to tighten the chain a little bit

It doesn't surprise me that the Harley is really good, Harley have serious know how and can make any type of bike they want and make it good. I have only seen one of these though, in black, and didn't care much for it. A few things make me smile because of journalists, though, they always act like dakar riders testing these bikes, if one would frequently ride proper fast off-road one would buy other bikes with better off-road manners. I would like to see a proper comparison with nice tires on twisty bumpy roads, that's where it's at.

Designers seem to forget they then need to add that huge plastic thing in the back for plate and lights

That's really pretty!

Yes, I've followed Harry's videos for ages. I like his take on cars.

I imagine just taking them off the sidestand could cause them to be really unstable. My mechanic has a few (too many) in different states of not functioning, I suspect he's going to corner the market on them

I can see the museum value for that, or for a true collector, though.

Give those guys a chance to go back in time and kill baby hitler or the dude who flooded that boat with foam, and they'll have a tough decision to make. I don't get it though, if nothing was wrong with the ship then why fill it with foam in the first place?

From the UK to here, there were a lot of bikes coming over second hand, obviously not cars. Some people made a lot of money with it, but not so anymore I don't think.

They do that here too, a clean one will go for more. That guy is just flinging shit at a wall to see if it sticks

You want to see silly? Here's a 1998 Africa Twin for 14.000€ https://www.olx.pt/d/anuncio/vendo-honda-xrv-africatwin-rd07-1998-IDFVAAp.html#f59bbf3200 with 86.000km on the clock but wait for it... the owner states it's never been above 2500rpm before getting warm Motorcycles keep their worth a lot more here but it's also better for not loosing as much value in your own vehicle, having said that some people live in Peter Pan world. Here's the general Africa Twin market, most expensive to cheaper: https://www.olx.pt/carros-motos-e-barcos/motociclos-scooters/honda/?search[filter_enum_modelo][0]=africa-twin&search[order]=filter_float_price%3Adesc

I didn't want to point out a mistake in one of @yen_powell's threads, felt I´d be accused of being a twat, but sure am happy it´s gone

The honey I like the most is made by a farmer in my village, with a lot of rosemary pollen, I like to think some of his bees visit my plants.

You're sitting in line with an empty spot available only for bikes? After 10 seconds waiting, cars forfeit their rights! Are those really TDMs? They look odd from the back. Nice smooth fields, I like those in France!
