  1. Bob's bike looks like it has snail eyes with the two mirrors pointing up. Buckster's bike has got two backrests AND a black top box, just saying. Marcel's bike can't be faulted, very cool, except for those ugly luggage bars in the back. Moon's Tiger is the prettiest color Tiger there is, and there's something cool about a big trailie being used as a breakfast table, complete with french croissant. Justapor's bike has it's own backpack, plus as far as gay tires go, those look very nice. Renegade´s Gladius, I don't know if they already came up with an excuse for it. Sir Fallsalot XTrainer, the bike's name sounds like something you buy at a sport shop to go running, and also I'm pretty sure he's exiting the house just before sunset on purpose for a BOTM shot. Six's 765, it's still got the blue plastic wrapping, and also looks smaller than his nephew's 390. I haven't got a picture for this month
  2. Turns out my bike's gearbox is coming apart, at least to replace bearings. It's me fucked as I really would rather not ride anything else than my bike. Really disappointed with this. On the other hand, once it's back together it might be something to never touch again. Now to figure out what to do.
  3. Here we go, our submissions for Bike Of The Month, August 2024. You have one vote, and maybe you can also switch votes until the 31st August at 21:00, by which time the poll closes. @boboneleg's Yamaha WR250X: @Buckster's Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide: @Marcel le Moose Fondler's KTM 950 Adventure: @MooN's Triumph Tiger 800XC: @JustaPor's Honda CB500F: @Renegade's Suzuki SVF650 Gladius: @Sir Fallsalot's Beta XTrainer 300: @Six30's Triumph Street Triple 765:
  4. If I do end up borrowing one, it most likely will not be a Honda. Probably Sofia's Speed Triple or some sort of BMW from another friend. But I really want to take my bike.
  5. On other news, my bike's clutch bearing plate is being installed this afternoon. I'll find out this evening if I'm taking my bike next week or if the gearbox needs bearings rebuilt and I need a borrowed bike.
  6. That bike makes that truck look like a normal sized car.
  7. It is complete shit when you buy a new bike and don't have a nice dealership within acceptable distance to home. Better to just bite the bullet and forget about warranties and use a trusty mechanic.
  8. Almost looks fake, doesn't it? Look where the yellow line turns blurred.

    Old bike.

Plus, she clearly already has at least one 600 already!
  10. That's a cool pickup!
  11. I didn’t ask, but thank you for showing what a tire looks like

    Pedro's food

Salmon and bacon on the same pasta? Are trying to trigger me?
  13. I’ll be the one to say it, doesn’t that tent in front of your house make it look a bit pikey?

Here you can ride a restricted A2 at 18, and then at 20 it automatically goes to A1. I never noticed that my driver's license only stated the A2, so until 2 years ago when I last went to Morocco I rode with a license that stated I wasn't able to ride unlimited bikes Obviously in Portugal cops know that the license renovates to unlimited, but obviously all the police that checked it in Morocco over the years don't have to know that, they obviously didn't pay too much attention
  15. You can now submit your picture for Bike Of The Month August. You get one picture, of a bike you own, taken this month on a ride, in horizontal format. If you want, you can submit multiple pictures, I will consider the last one only when it comes to making the vote, which shall be on the 29th at 22:00.
  16. Turns out I left my bike at the shop. The clutch "rattle" with clutch disengaged at neutral has been getting louder, my dude says it's probably clutch bearing or clutch cylinder / lever bearing or whatever, both are ordered and are probably here between wednesday and thursday. However, there is a chance that the rattle comes from the gearbox bearings, in which case we will know about it on thursday/friday after replacing the current ordered parts. If it's the gearbox it'll be a proper job to get that out and replaced, it'll take a while and will definitely not be ok for Italy next week, which means an alternative vehicle for the trip. I'm hoping for the better, as there is no other bike I'd like to take more than my own.
  17. That time of year again. still not sure I’ll be putting them on as the current tires have got a lot of meat on them. I don’t think they have 6000km of life left, though.
  18. Most of Portugal felt it, plus some parts of Spain and Morocco. I’m that good!
