  1. Why have real ammunition anywhere near a set? Wouldn’t it be easier if the real stuff never made it in?
  2. I might ride out to get some lunch, take away
  3. I need to buy some cleaning stuff, it looks better in pictures
  4. Bike washed, sort of cleanish now, it was too nice an afternoon outside and I needed to do something
  5. I don't get why all other countries have such a strong opinion on the US gun policy. Now Americans, I can see why they might have a strong opinion one way or the other, but why does every other country have people who have a strong opinion on what another country does regarding their internal gun control and criticize the US for it? Edit: Is that a leather shirt?
  6. Woke up to a chilly morning, and went outside to weed out the garden/jungle/meadow, then after working out an apetite got on the bike and went to my favourite spot by the river where I enjoyed a great sandwich and absolutely perfect weather. Came back via the road that crosses all the farm fields, the road is caked in dry dirt. The dirt was dragged onto the road as mud when the trucks from picking up the tomatoes were working, then it rained, and then it got hot and dry, and the truck traffic pressed it. It's now a mix of tarmac and very hard compacted dirt. Fuelled up the bike and now am relaxing on the sofa with the windows open, might wash the bike tomorrow or this afternoon, but I'm feeling lazy now.
  7. I’m sensitive to temperature, I’m afraid if you hand me a hot firearm I’ll just drop it …
  8. This guy just did my head in, from 04:50 onwards, stepping on and off the bike with no stand ... All in a very french style
  9. All in I would say there's just a little more than one hour riding time, my kind of lunch, really
  10. Sadly not more like a long size, even though I’m not thin

    autumn colors

That’s just gorgeous! I’ve driven across France on small roads once, and on motorways a lot of times, but the first time on the bike and I’ll call you for a guide.
  12. No, 80.800km, it’s a january or february 2016 bike, it’s been rolling around, sadly a lot more over the last 3 years without leaving little old Portugal.
  13. did you type that randomly with your eyes closed? Kawasaki names crack me up
  14. A sunny autumn day, started kind of sad and having no will to make lunch at home, after some work I rode to my favourite place in the hills for a burger. On the way there, I took a dirt shortcut, only 3 or 4 kms but good fun, stopped for pictures just for you guys One of my favorite bits of road There will be a car rally tomorrow on that road in previous pictures, I don't know if that's the reason why but they fixed some of the bumps cause by tree roots pushing the road up, they put patches of tarmac "fixing it", they're smooth now which spoils my advantage over sports bikes , but those kind of fixes never last and it's bound to be a potholed mess after a winter or two. Lunch, on a deserted place that is filled with bikers and cyclists on sundays Being the season, I foraged for tonight's dessert It's a nice place to stop by Stopped by my local Dainese outlet for a coffee and went in to check winter pants, I have been riding in jeans for years but feel like having something waterproof and better for winter riding this year, ordered a special size as I'm shaped oddly, waiting to see what they come up with. On the way home I took a couple of dirt roads, only to find the really fast one approaching my town is closed for works, I home they're not surfacing it ... no pictures of that. Weather turned from a chill 15º to a most excellent 23º by then, returning from the hills, my choice for a t-shirt under the basic jacket proved right. Got home in a better mood than I left, and spent the following two or three hours pulling weeds out of my garden / wild field. Now finishing a beer and this report outside in freezing wind, ready to go inside cook some grub and have some red wine , such is the life in the southern Portuguese countryside.
  15. My guess is that at 100hp the driveshaft would probably take too much performance out of it and make it too slow for journalists who are already going to say it would be better with 20hp more.
  16. I would not give up on my bike. But if I were to buy it again i would give the normal GS another couple of test rides before ruling it out.
  17. Someone will ask how much it weighs in a bit... I would have my R1200GSA, I would be tempted by a R1250GS, but having just one bike it would be mine.
  18. Bad news, things apparently will heal less and less by themselves after you’re forty…
  19. I like this, but think this needs a driveshaft, can't help but thinking Honda is doing a BMW and making a road touring bike out of the Africa Twin.
