  1. They won’t think anything about it, or if they do they’d be happy for the company
  2. Just about to be good enough to sell on ...
  3. They make for good sitting ...
  4. Hearding those birds must have been some work, I'll give you that!
  5. I know it's actually not, but it's ok, I'll try and get more into the swing of it over the next few ones, I'll have one for the Douro and Serra da Estrela, one of the center of Portugal, one for the Alentejo, and one for the Algarve. By then I'll probably be more comfortable talking to the laptop on my own
  6. I thought it was an amazing place to visit, did you delete my comment on purpose so that @yen_powell feels unloved, Pete?
  7. The video with him cruising down a pleasant third or fourth gear trail, wide and firm enough for the GS without fear, that's the stuff for me That deep clay is not even mud, it sucks you in and you need proper motocross tires to even make any progress.
  8. It's not the abuse that impresses me, although I couldn't do it, it's the balancing of such a heavy bike on the front wheel offroad that does.
  9. You know, I think my english is usually better than that, but when you're talking and trying to match what you're saying to the image, and you're watching things moving at the same time, it somehow messes it all up and I become a mumbler. I hope the next one turns out better
  10. And here's another video, 0:20 blows my mind!
  11. and made a video of it. I made this video to figure out how it was to make a video with voiceover, it's fucking tiresome and frustrating that what it's like! I am annoyed just listening to myself speak, but if you have 10 minutes to spare you might want to see it. There are some good roads on there, you can turn the sound off ... This covers the first day of the ride me and @Sofia did a month ago, on this ride report from her:
  12. Let’s get real, you can fit all the mudguard you want and ride nowhere else except an F1 track, you would still wash your bike.
  13. Nice thing you stopped for a picture by that river, Pete! Such a mass of water commands respect!
  14. They were indeed, or still are. However, didn't see many resemblance to the Duke of Wellington in those red faced guys in front of the airport wearing football t-shirts.
  15. Value for money right there!
  16. Yes, they were most kind in helping out little Portugal
  17. Some of them did look worse for wear, but I suppose two straight days of drinking silly and being chased around by the cops must be quite the workout. Tell you what, though, they did live up to expectations
  18. Although fast isn’t really my thing, those deserted straights really have some attraction to them, the pull of the desert and all that.
  19. Drove my little brother to the airport just now. Fucking brits everywhere!
  20. I suppose it wouldn't matter on a Harley
  21. As for riding with a pillion, I think they are also quite suited from a rider's perspective with how they deal with the extra weight.
  22. I never cooked it, my mother and grandmother did while growing up. I have more fun cooking vegetables than meat except on the grill.
  23. Thing is, I ate a lot of rabbit growing up, don't really like it as a meat so prefer to hide it behind a strong sauce.
  24. Not good for saute, you want them stewed ... little bit of tomato, onions, red wine, ...
