I quite doubt that. Discerning isn't what comes to mind to describe someone that searches for a full english breakfast while still drunk before going to the beach at over 30º. I am not in the Algarve, though, so quite far away from that nightmare scenario, but am indeed in fear of the COVID boom that comes from tourists on holiday.

Book Club - What are you reading at the moment?
Pedro replied to Grasshopper's topic in GENERAL CHAT
Started The Three Musketeers, got into the third line and fell asleep, then went on a motorcycle ride, and three weeks later just realized I left the book at home, I'll pick it up within less than a week from now. It might take a while at this pace... -
The GS's toolkit only has three or four things, but then again most screws you'll see from far away are the same T25 head, and there is no chain to adjust. Apart from that they would be fooling you if you think you could fix it with an under seat toolkit. I still have a pletora of all necessary bits and those thing they attach to (second/third language ) in a plastic roll in a sidecar if it comes to be...

Well, I was going to write I am happily drinking myself to sleep when I read that @MooN is having real health and work problems ... so now I´m feeling guilty... hang in there Chris, just know that you are appreciated, at least here. I know you push yourself and appreciate your job but if you are unable to move you won't be of use to yourself or be able to enjoy being off work. Pace yourself! So, I have just finished drinking this very unassuming and simple white grown 20km away, bought today from a lady that owns a wine farm that has pet sheep, got to love that.

Went home for the first time in ages, stopping by my favourite hilltop cafe, bikers were quite happy to be allowed out. I left as they started to arrive: Then stopped by a local vineyard to try a few bottles of local wines: The bike was properly dirty, gave it a wash and rode it dry:

In Portugal, bifes meaning steaks, or camones from you saying “come on”, sometimes lagostas meaning lobsters after you get your typical “laying drunk on the beach sun tan”, or just the equivalent to “fucking tourists”.

Ended up changing my tires to a set of TKC70 before going on a 2000km ride around Portugal’s back roads. It was the right choice as they instantly felt good. New:

Fresh pollen in the air usually ruins my rides, don’t envy that one bit. Looking good, though!

Restaurants close at 10:00pm, but loads are still closed because it’s not profitable to open. Some hotels are also closed, but we’re coping Rode for 40 or 50km today, before stopping...
