  1. Do you put up a tent for doing maintenance?
  2. For the sake of accuracy... it's chinese american
  3. That's just how they do that in South Africa
  4. I like this, but it's way over simplified and not accounting for pressure.
  5. It mustn´t be cool to see smoke starting to appear only to anticipate whatever dark magic had your bike at it's mercy. Since I imagine you ride it less than frequently, why not just have a normal battery with a tender connected to it inside the garage?
  6. Here in Portugal you get a 1D, which is: "hey fucko, don't do that shit ever again"
  7. I use a pair of Dainese boots stiled after old army boots from the 70s and 80s, bought them 6 years ago. The soles were shit and wore through so I had them replaced with Vibram soles 4 years ago for 15 Euros at my local shoe guy, and since then they've been better than new, even though they are more like normal boots than motorcycle stiff boots. I take them there occasionally after a proper long trip and they come back out looking like new for next to nothing. I am going to buy waterproof boots for winter, because I hate to ruin them with rain, but my current ones just fit me. Here I am posing
  8. I deleted my facebook account years ago when it revealed how racist and angry people really are when Europe got to deal with the refugee situation. I am happy to not go back there. This has provided somewhere for me to post a few reports very dear to me, and to properly go through those pictures for the first time ever, but also as a great replacement for a less intrusive facebook of sorts, served in a format and pace which are more agreeable to my internet ignorant way of being.
  9. Tryactin like you're not a fucking moron when writing web pieces, look at journalism and tryactin like that.
  10. Good stuff, bots. I wonder what kind of coffee maker they used for that trip, or if the burger place where they stopped for food also offered them a milkshake in exchange for a review.
  11. That can actually can’t
  12. I like the idea, it shouldn’t have less than 20 / 25 litres
  13. Riding with another rider is the best you can do, I wouldn’t worry. Great video and what a gorgeous place you found!
  14. Tomorrow I shall take a short ride to Ericeira, probably the last one while the weather's amazing, and will enjoy that cool vibe for a day or two. On the way there I will stop by my favourite hilltop cafe where I will attempt to style and profile if the place is Covid friendly and not crowded. If it is crowded, I will sulk and carry on to stop somewhere less cool to have coffee.
  15. Got any pictures? Because otherwise ...
  16. How far do you ride for fuel? Regardless of weather I never start any vehicle specifically to go for fuel, but then again I live one km away from a fuel station.
  17. Get rid of that box, Pete, and just carry a small bag if you want to carry a sandwich or some water. A big box like that ruins the lightness of a small bike like that 650, it just doesn't look cool
  18. Givi stuff is simple, reasonably priced, and just works.
  19. There are no spacers between that base plate and the bike's base plate, though, or are there?
  20. I think there is another top box base plate (BMW original or givi?) to which they permanently screwed the 4 spacers holding the Shad base plate on, I just hope they didn't glue it onto the base plate. That's proper pikey, if that's what they did
  21. Hand it over to you local car paint shop, it'll match your bike for 50€. Kind regards, Pedro
  22. Lyn (male)! Great to hear from you!!
