A long time ago in Brazil, I stayed for a while in a small village with just one very gay barber/hairdresser/waxer. I made a bet with my girlfriend's brother that he wouldn't be able to wax his very thick beard, using proper wax like they use to handle women's parts, poor sod made the mistake of not backing off and even bigger mistake of having the first bit done right on his chin so he couldn't back off, he had his entire face done down to his neck. By the second pull he was crying tears that actually stung his face as they dripped down He was properly sweating blood from his face . Actually stayed for over a month, happy times.

I love the look of those bikes, but that exhaust ... I can almost smell roasted hipster thigh ... -
He's beyond happy having me and bro locked in.

On the Fazer? Why?

Maybe trim the edges that stick out of the standard metal foot?

Indeed, I did have some pretty weird shit back then, but then my DNA decided to fix it and now I'm aerodynamic. -
It's covid, the world has gone to shit.

Pretty cool bike. No money left for a haircut, then. -
Fucking hell, @Lone Amigo, don´t you have a boring story in you?

There's a ferry to Santander, and considering covid you might get a deal. Spain has the cheapest fuel in Europe after Luxembourg, too.
-
I am sorry @Richzx6r, I do speak the language fluently and wouldn´t mind helping out, but I´ll make no plans at the moment. Either covid is still fucking us and I'll be locked in and going nowhere miserably, or covid will let us breathe and in September I'll be busy with work at the beginning of the month and then heading to Morocco on the third or fourth week. On a trip perspective, I do advise you to skip the airplane, the trip there and back will be memorable if you take an extra day each way to visit the Picos and a couple of Pyrenees passes. If Spain is not under house arrest, being a single guy I would spend a night in Bilbao as well, and go drink some beers and each some pinchos. The weather on northern Spain can be shit on late September though, but I imagine that doesn't matter to a brit?

The love is there. It's the BMW on a wide open dirt road and blue sky, they made me do it

That’s also true, starting with the “playing outside” part

This isn’t memory lane, @Tym, you have a great chance for February’s BOTM, with a current picture.

"as far as I can see" proving my theory.

That's because you take sad pictures. Until now.

I have no trust in myself to venture somewhere out of the way in a bike put together by me. I tried doing that to the XR a while ago and the poor thing sat in the garage for ages half torn apart. Plus, the GS is the bike for me to tour on. I have thought of something more offroady for Morocco, but I just couldn't leave my bike in the garage on this next trip.

I see what you did there! So, this vote will be closed tomorrow night, GMT. Just thought I'd say so in case you wish to change it again ...

That is not how I feel about time. I seem to have this pending sense of doom and need to have something to look forward to.
