  1. The one we call H2 on this side of the Atlantic is the supercharged one, I'd say it's way overpowered for any kind of non tarmac use, but then again there are crazies up for anything.
  2. Today was quite cold for Portuguese standards, but quite sunny so I was happy with it as long as I kept out of motorways. Had breakfast at Ericeira, before going for a ride around town and then heading to Cabo da Roca, then turned inland and went to via a great forrest road heading home, on @Sofia's recommendation. Then, remembered @Grasshopper's Ride likes windmills so stopped for a picture, it´s a little deceiving because I didn´t really ride the dirt, it´s just the end of the road I rode there to check out the view on my favourite hill. Heading back home I stopped for a coffee at my local Dainese shop and ordered a pair of winter pants. The coffee was quite welcome, most the ride was at around 6 to 8ºC. Getting back home, and the locked home is freezing, I've turned the heating on and AC on, and fired the fireplace, it's now making a dent on the cold. I was having anticipating this so stopped to buy vegetables to make some soup for the next couple of days. I think I have a few cool clips for a movie, will get into it. Ericeira: Cabo da Roca's lighthouse, Europe's westernmost point right here: Stop next to a proper windmill, at Montejunto: Spotted an H2 after having my coffee, it's not a pretty bike in a conventional way but I do like them.
  3. Harleys are reputed to actually stop quite well on emergency braking to a standstill, but don’t let that ruin your argument against the government
  4. I would keep it the same, some pictures work better than others, so if you don't like it just wait a month with no bitching and it'll change then.
  5. Liked it, some of that looks like good fun roads.
  6. I forgot all about this. I got distracted with a great roast dinner and great wine. Sorry guys, will do better next month. Congratulations @Sir Fallsalot, One of the coolest pictures in 2020!

    Previous Bikes

I don’t care, that bike as a “I put together as my first bike” is cool as hell

    Previous Bikes

    Major street cred!

    Possi´s website

This HPN looks pretty unique. Grant Johnson, of HU rides an R80GS but his is kited with all sorts of weird luggage. Obviously could as well be someone else.

    Possi´s website

Possi's website has been a favourite of mine for years. He's a german doctor that has travelled over 300.000km on all continents on his BMW HPN, usually flying the bike there and riding back or taking a few weeks long tours around. The site is all in German so I don't really understand it, but then again it's mostly all pictures, and they're amazing. You can get lost for hours there, just dreaming away, as he's a great photographer. https://www.possi.de/ There are trips from the early 90s until now, it's a great internet picture book.
  13. Did more of that than usual as i had wet pants Glad you like the view Bob
  14. I like the last one, with the wildlife. Street-art indeed. Diesels are sometimes obnoxious here too, more so when de-filtered and remapped with no concerns for diesel-air mixes.
  15. I like the idea behind that. But, don't think Itchy boots has anything over you in film making. I get annoyed with her after 5 seconds of speech, while your voice is a welcome addition to Youtube.
  16. I know, picture one of those sweet Rally R80GS next to my 1200
  17. Used tampons on the bathroom floor Vs. Brother shagging? That's like the Batman Vs. Superman of evil
  18. I like your garage videos, or tent videos.
  19. Two examples, check out the Sport and the Rallyesport https://www.hpn.de/pdf/hpn5.pdf
  20. I love the Dakar, more so, an HPN BMW is my dream bike to have parked in the garage to ride once in a while
  21. He was just as short, not the bike’s fault!
  22. I’m not really looking for success, more a bit of fun and a pass time. But I agree, they are too long and boring with no speech included. I am not really into talking to a camera, nor having anything more complicated than a single camera, otherwise it’ll cut too much into the simplicity of a ride. So, I’ll cut them shorter.
