Only at night on weekdays, and afternoons on weekends. But yes. Thing is, there are a lot of exceptions here in Portugal, you can walk your dogs, exercise, go to work, visit relatives in need of help, etc, even travel during lockdown if you have a letter from your employer stating you're working.

You can't leave home except to work, exercise or walk dogs. What is enforced is traffic between councils. This goes for almost all regions, and has been going for a week now. This is in place from 11PM to 5AM on weekdays, and from 1PM to 5AM on weekends.

I am inclined to create a strict "no neon lighting" policy, but that would possibly be viewed as too authoritarian

We are only on council lockdown from 1PM on weekends, Pete, so tomorrow morning I'll go for a ride on my bike, make it home before lunch and then maybe wash it in the afternoon (Pete's washing machine smilie)

So, peoples, this month I'll adjust dates, you can submit pictures taken from October 26th (date of last month's vote) until the 30th November. On the 01st December I'll start a vote and we'll have a winner by the 03rd. So from now on I think it'll make more sense to submit pictures taken on that same month, with the winner decided on the 03rd of the current month. You have until the end of the month to submit a kick-ass picture of your bike taken while on a ride on this period. Scenery is important, bike is important, everything is important! Let the games begin...

Covid deniers? Like it's all fake news?

OK then, sheesh, well done on the lights!

It's getting more serious here as well, more so where most of my clients are than in the rest of the country, poor bastards are getting the worst of it, most of them have at least a couple of employees at home sick or because their wives are sick. A couple I know, clients of mine, were both sick at the same time, it's no joke. I went to collect a payment today, got out of the car into the guy's (actually a friend, not many of those at work) office and back into the car like I was doing a space walk at the International Space Station.
-
Mine has done that from when I got it, but only when cold at slightly lower tick over rpm. When warm it evens out a little but you can see the pulses in the lights. Not that I care too much about the lights anyway.

is that the XR400? What do you need a battery for in a kick start only bike?
-
You do need the flannel shirt, though!

I doubt anyone does, @Tym, I’m sorry to have to tell you

She's talking about cats, Pete, cats!

I don’t take much convincing

Joking aside, it’s great to ride a bike that is comfortable to stand up on. On long rides or trips, regardless of being on dirt or not, is great for stretching and not getting cramps, or getting your underwear right, or flowing air in sweaty parts, whatever.
